Most disturbing death in a movie

For me, definitely the bottle-to-the-face scene in Pan's Labyrinth. It's such a ruthless and fairly graphic death; that combined with the victim's innocence shook me up a bit.

For me off the top off my head it would have to be the guy who gets his head swallowed by that slug thing in King Kong (2005)

the pyramid head clone tearing all of that one girl's skin off and throwing it at a door her couldn't enter.

Also, in Jurassic Park: Lost World, there was a guy in a jeep. One t-rex got his chest, the other got his legs, and the t-rexes ripped him in half.

Yep I remember that one quite clearly seeing it in the cinema, I was seven and just sat their horrified, on the flip side the guy who gets eaten on the toilet in the first one was kinda funny.

Probably the motorcyclist in the beginning of Final Destination 2, but that was fast.

Williams in "Enter the Dragon". This magnificent strutting peacock of a guy who says "When failure comes I won't even notice, I'll be too busy lookin' good" gets slowly beaten to death in a room full of beautiful laughing women, then boiled in a vat of opiate before being strung up naked. May not be the most gruesome but it's certainly one of the most memorable and disturbing deaths I've seen.

lol that guy was sooo 70's (in a good way) I thought it was quite a cool way to go out, with the aformention quote.

funny story i actually bought Braindead (Dead Alive) for a friend for christmas then I found out he already had it, so I put it on Christmas Eve becacuse there nothing else on... that was a dark Christmas Day lol

Nope havn't read the book yet, although I just might to find out what happens to that poor guy.

Oh and thought of a few more
-any death scene in a battle royale
-the animal deaths in a fish called wanda
-the detective in pyscho who walks up the stairs (shudders)
-the knife death at the end of private ryan (one of the deaths I genuinley can't watch)

Well the two naked chicks being burnt alive in Final Destination 3 was disturbing... and sad.

I cant remember if it's Two or Three but the one where a girl gets shot in the head with a nailgun, and another where a guys head gets torn apart by a car radiator fan.

I thought most of the deaths in Final Destination where actually kinda "meh", except the kid who get smushed by the falling glass, what happened to him?

The show Harper's Island had some good deaths
One guy was standing under a chandelier during a wedding practice thing and a head spade fell from the chandelier and went straight through his head
That one was pretty good

Kaori's death in Akira!

Ew.

Mine would be the guy who had this alien proboscis rammed into his cranium and get the innards sucked right out from Starship Troopers. It was partly the cause of my insect phobia.

What made her death so terrible was that she was the only innocent character in movie aswell as the comic. She always tried to help and she wouldn't hurt a fly. Then in the movie she gets killed so horrendously.

-The Laser hallway, "Resident Evil"
-Anything from Cube / Cube 2

And the one that freaked me out the most:
-The agents getting "eradicated" by the Lawnmower Man

Nothing disturbs me as much as when a main character who you've been rooting for is unexpectedly shot in the head and falls down dead. It disturbs me because it makes me realise how it doesn't matter who you are gun to the head and you are dead.

District 9 had some fun times with alien weaponry.

But it was hilarious when the alien lightning thing blew people up. I laughed every time.

that the black arms dealer died, with that thing that hit his forehead and stuck there for a sec. His facial expression completed the moment.

Yeah, pretty much that was funny.

Yep watched it with some friends while quite drunk, maybe it was the alcohol but i wasnt that creeped out by it, if anything the bag scene scared the hell otta me.

cant remember the film but some guy got his head shoved down a bowling ball returner and that was pretty gruesome or another film i cant remember where this guy has to eat his own face ( kinda funny actually
