Couldn't even make it much further than where he sticks pubic hair to his face to make him look like his newly returned father so his mother will want him again. Being stoned did nothig to lessen how disturbing I found that movie.

haha... when i read the topic i was already prepared to write "cannibal holocaust" way to beat me to it right off the bat ... poor turtle :/ lol
What is "Cannibal Holocaust"?
EDIT: I looked it up. A good ol' case of "snuff film acusation". I've heard of that movie before, just forgot about it.

Also, I didnt see the movie but read the book, and if its anything like the book, Hellraiser(Hellbound Heart.) That shit is insane.

This one isnt disturbing like Hellraiser, but V for Vendetta. Such a Fucked up future. And what V put Evey threw is just... Horrible.

If they end Watchmen the same (or similar) to the book, that would be a disturbing ending. The fact that he/she could get away with such a thing is...insane.

Audition, Japanese people are fucked up.

Requiem for a Dream was also a fantastic movie.
Cabin Fever was pretty disturbing at points.
Hostel was just stupid.

Followed closely by Tromeo & Juliette, Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas (I've never been able to get through it in one sitting) and the Toxic Avenger.

Funny Games.

That film is just disturbed, there are more fucked up film concepts out there, but the performances in the remake versions is what makes this film so absolutely messed up, along with the emotional mind games and the degredation the mother had to go through. It really did have me on the edge of my seat for quite a bit of it.

Plus, it's one of the few films that intentionally makes sure that the viewer doesn't get their way, it's very well done in my opinion.

Bad Boy Bubby.

Also, I've not actually seen it, another thread like this directed me to it, but Visitor Q [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visitor_Q] sounds...delightful.

There are things that make your stomach turn from what you may see, you may be scared for life from what you might have seen, it may have just mad you go "WTF". Either way name the most disturbing movie you've ever seen.

My choice would have to be hands down Cannibal Holocaust. Corny name yes, but if you've ever seen this movie you know what I'm talking about
My god yes. This was my pick. One of the last movies allowed to have animals actually killed in a movie. And not to mention all the conspiracy around whether the director actually murdered the cast or not. (For the record he didn't, but he was brought into court over it.)

And talk about sickening special effects...

It's a must see for all you horror buffs though. The original "Blair Witch Project" except not bad.

Though I'm slightly ashamed to admit it now, Hostel left me feeling really disturbed at the time. Shame it's sequel was such a far cry from what made the first one good.

Hostal. Whatever sick fuck classifies that as entertainment needs there head examined.
Yeah, I LIKE horror movies, but this just felt like the ultimate in nasty, voyeuristic crap, purely created to show people being tortured and killed.

There was so little in plot, they had to crowbar about an hour in it at the start just about tits it seemed to me.

Now I'm not saying movies like Friday the 13th or other stuff like Wrong Turn had amazing plots or depth, but you felt like 'oh will they get away, how will they die', whereas with Hostel you get a woman tied to a chair and a guy with a blowtorch and you know what's going to happen. As for Hostel 2, it was the first one remade with women in, which to me just made it worse, as it seemed to be an excuse to get them naked while they were being butchered.

Then you look at Saw, which it's usually bundled in with, in the 'torture porn' category and the Saw series just excels in every department, in comparison.

I'm sure I've seen more shocking and disturbing movies, but that for me was the most disturbing terms of the direction movies have taken to earn a buck.

EDIT : Yet...I watched the sequel? I am hopelessly optimistic maybe or just really thick? No, don't answer that one!

Any movie in wich cute girls die a horrible and gory death, I HATE it when that happens :(

Also, some black and white movie from the 70's or something, black and white, not a real horror film but something....pretty disturbing. With some wierd mutant baby, that was freaky.

Okay, I know they're not movies, but the animes School Days and Higurashi no Naku Koro ni are more disturbing than any movie I've ever seen (I haven't seen any movies that really disturbed me anyway).

Neither of them are the goriest thing I've ever seen, far from it, but the way in which it is carried out will deeply disturb you.

Not so much the movie, but those who enjoy that kind of thing, Hostel, Hostel 2, The Hills Have Eyes 1/2, not so much Saw because he usualy only does those things to people who deserve it.
