NO! no, Fuck you! I had JUST put that horrible image out of my mind, and then I read your post. I hate you. SOOOOO much

OT: This wasnt so much a movie as it was an Anime. Anyone who watched Berserk all the way through will have seen "the Eclipse" Which...well...lemme sum it up for you. (anyone who hasn't seen the ending to berserk and doesn't want it spoiled, stop now)

Lets say your best friend was horribly injured in an accident, like, crippled from the neck down horrible, and was offered to have his injuries fixed and given immortality, if he sacrifices the lives of you and all his friends. now, the horrible part is that you, your friends, and your girlfriend are with your best friend when he does this, and your forced to watch as the people who offered him immortality brutally murder your friends, and you can do nothing but watch (what are you gonna do, fight them? they just killed all your friends) now, you and your girl friend are spared being murdered, but in the chaos, your pinned to the ground, your arm broken. and your Best friend, the transformation complete, comes up to you, stares and then starts raping your girl friend. in front of you. after all your friends were just murdered. and you can TRY to help, but you cant reach her, because you'v been pinned by the one of the murderers. you come up with one solution. Rip off your arm.

Thats the ending to Berserk, in a nutshell.

Baise-moi....if you want to see the most disturbing rape scene ever filmed (in my opinion) go and watch that. It was just disgusting. Goes on for fucking ages as well, feels longer because it's so messed up. Makes me wonder what kind of person would actually come up with something like that.

Two things from the same French film, Irreversible:

1) A man having his head beaten almost flat with a fire extinguisher - you see everything! And it takes forever.

2) A 20 minute anal rape scene - (20 DAMN MINUTES!) followed by a coma-inducing beating.

And no, Irreversible isn't a snuff film.
And this. Both of those films are quite disturbing...

EDIT: a few people have mentioned American History X and I do agree mostly but you know what I think is even worse than the stomp itself? The sound of his teeth grinding as he places his mouth on the curb just before he gets stomped, especially when you know what's coming.

I watched the damn extended version of that Halloween remake. I regret it. there are some things you want to remove from your memory. This scene in this movie is one them. A deleted scene includes two douchebag red neck asylum guards raping a mental patient in front of Mike Meyers...God...that seriously takes the cake for remarkably unnessecary and disturbing. It wasn't edgy,it wasn't artistically dark. It was just sick. It made me hate humanity and serioulsy troubled me for a couple days

The first thing to ever disturb me was the head melting scene in Raider of the Lost Ark. Look at it now and its goofy. Also,I saw Cape Fear (the remake) when I was about seven years old. The scene where Robert De Niro's character is assaulting Illeana Douglas-that was horrfying. When I saw The Singing in the Rain scene from Clockwork Orange....well I really couldn't stay in the room very long for that scene. The eye popping scene in Blade Runner is another.

Also, not film related. But David Firth Cartoons just...just...horrifying. The Milkman and Spoilsbury toast by comes to mind. Seriously. even mentioning them disturb me.

The Normandy scene in Saving Private Ryan.

THe main disturbing thing was he soldier, with half of his intestines on the floor, pitifully crying for his mom. I nearly cried when I first saw that.

But I haven't seen many other movies... So sorry if you think this is a petty disturbing act

Yeah, that's what I was thinking of too.

For me it would have to be the part in Imprint when one of the geisha's is getting tortured by everyone else and gets 18" long hair pins stuck under all her finger nails and gets her mouth pinned open with six of the hair pins. All while being suspended at weird angles from the ceiling.

The curb stomp from American History X has always stuck with me.

The opening scene from Hollow Man. This rat gets eaten by an invisible animal, and when it first gets bitten all of the blood makes the animal's teeth appear, it really freaked me out the first time I saw it. I had no idea what the movie was about the first time it came on, ive seen it a couple of times now, but still that one bit.

Also the movie "Teeth" and in "Planet Terror" there's a guy with an infected wang. Very disturbing

I don't watch a lot of "disturbing" movies because my imagination can't handle things like that. But for me it would have to be the entire movie of Nightmare on Elm Street. The thought that someone can kill you in your dreams? Gives me the heebie jeebies! What sticks with me the most was that part when the girl was in the body bag talking and being dragged by nothing.

Ehhh it's just so creepy because it's all done with normal things like the one bedroom slaughter scene. Normal things that I now stays in the back of my mind.
