When I was nice and drunk at a house party, my friend convinced me to grab the breast of a girl we had been talking too. For the record I was hesitant but he took my arm and plunged it into her chest ... anyway after a few quiet seconds she announced she had to go and for some reason, instead of saying bye, I decided to say "Just so you know, you felt great" ...

Bwahahah wow that's an instant classic right there.

OT: Dunno, I tend to stay away from saying embarassing things. That doesn't mean that I'm a big-time ladykiller, though, because I'm not.

Had a dude I had never spoken with before in my life saunter up and ask me out. I was sure he was joking, as this was middle school, and I really wasn't much of a catch in middle school. So I kinda laughed in his face and told him 'no way!', trying to play it off like it was no big deal to me that he was jerking me around...it was hard to hurt my feelings.
Unfortunately, it was pretty easy to hurt his, as apparently he was serious. Yeah regret that quite a bit. :/

I was having a heated argument with my girlfriend at the time, and her mother asked what was up. I told her to the face to butt out.

Haven't seen either of them for years (not for that reason in specific, though).

So after I got my first rejection from a female classmate, I asked another. I was a bit of a social outcast. I guess she pitied me and said yes to socializing. No sex or anything. I liked her because she was nice and from what she had told me good with a computer.

So one of her friends ask me later why I asked her and I replied "för att hon är snabb med musen" ('cuz she's quick with the mouse'), referring to the computer device. Of course, in swedish it was slang for female genitalia... Things got alot more frosty after that, including a powerful slap.
Aw, jobbigt läge. You didn't get the chacne to explaing yourself? Nice to see another Swede here on the site, hope you like it here with us! ;)

oh god, one thing especially springs to mind ignoring all the drunken ramblings

it was like a year ago now with a girl i really liked but was way too shy to ever really even talk to incase i fucked up
so a small group has to go to the station which is like a 5-10 minute walk away and im all like up for going with them as far and she is aswell (cant remember if it was a conicidence, probably not) and we get there and they're about to leave so it would just be us to walking back and like having a proper conversation for the first time ever

when they go off and i like "realise" (as if i didnt already know) that it would only be us i act all "cool" as if i didnt know
and ive got a special defense mechanism, i hurt/reject other people before they can hurt/reject me if that's what im afraid of

so when we both find this out what i say is "oh dont leave, it's just kinda creeps me out" then i realise what i said and i just kinda look at her and i cant remember exactly what but i just start talking so fast to like write over it or something
and it really pissed me off as well cause in my head, being called creepy is one of the worst ways you can depict someone

id love to say we just kinda pretended it didnt happen after and had a great conversation walking back
but on the way back, like a minute later, i get jumped by a couple of my stoner mates who drag me out for a spliff
and this was back when weed was like the best thing ever to me - plus i felt like shit after what i said so i wanted to forget it - plus peer pressure and all

and ill never forget what i said to her as i was leaving
"are you sure you're alright to walk back by yourself, i mean really?"
and she said kinda in a way that hides emotions "yeah, i make this walk all the time"
and then im kinda pulled away watching her walk off alone and feel like utter shit
i probably didnt need to mention the second half of that story...

well this requires me to have every talked to a girl. so I have never said anything embarrassing to a girl. MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

jk

this one girl was pissing me off in like 7th grade. she was just being annoying. she was actually quite the little spoiled brat. So she was pissing me off and I said, "this is why you don't have any friends that like you." She ran away crying and some people laughed. Well eventually we met up in 10th grade in a group project thing and now we're like best friends. Not quite sure why but she loves to remind me of that story when we meet new people. I'm not really sure why but she gets a kick out of telling people the story and I'm the one embarrassed...

Confessing to a girl and getting told by her that she has a bf. Or texting to the girl later about hoping we could stay friends from that day on an misspelling "friend"

She hasn't talked to me since, except the occasional "hi" and answering my questions and does this every time we walk past each other (since the day after "the incident") : we make eye contact, she giggles, we look each other in the eye until we can't any more. and when alone there is awkward silence all the time.

Or telling a girl (a friend that is a girl) that her head looked like a pumpkin. (to my defense it really was HUGE)

Telling a girl that her nose was big.

This girl (another girl) is dressed like a whore in my opinion and she asks me to watch some of her belongings (she isn't really a friend but we know each other) and I ask "how much is this going to cost me" luckily she was to stupid to get it.

When I think about it things never go right for me in love. Man it sucks to realize that now

I usually just read the threads on The Escapist without commenting, but this thread is absolutely brilliant. (EDIT: Seeing my post and join date now I've posted this, by "usually" I mean "I've so far made one post a year" :p )

I'm not sure if this counts as an embarassing thing to say, but I got a very embarassing reaction from a girl when I was 14 (4 years ago). At the time, I had glasses that were too big for me and a ginger afro. The girl in question was generally agreed to be the most attractive girl in our year, if not the school. Being so far down the dating ladder I had nothing to lose, I asked if she would go out with me...

She screamed. For at least half a minute. It was outside as well, in a large grass area, and I could swear everyone in the field turned around to see what the noise was :(

Weird thing is, I'm friends with her now. She sort of apologised for it as well, though I think she was trying not to laugh when she did. To be fair, so was I. Looking back it was hilarious :D

Last week my friend was eating semi melted white chocolate and I mentioned it looked like she was licking mayonaise off of tin foil. And about 10 minutes later I had to explain to a group of girls that she wasn't really eating mayonaise.

Don't worry buddy, things have never gone quite well for me either.

As for me, well, I HALF said the embarrasing thing. So yeah, there was this girl, me in love, blah blah etc. So I hatched a plot of sorts, where I would get her to come out, we'd talk and I'd ask her out. So I asked a buddy of mine to tag along and stay in the shadows in case I fell unconscious. So yeah we go over to her house, and instead of coming out she invites us in. Plan ABORTED. So her mum makes us a cup of coffee and we go to her room and talk. Appearantly my friend didn't know the plan had gone haywire and was like "Jean was to tell you something." and I was like, "No, I don't". So yeah she wants to know what's up, I try to make some sort of cover story and my friend is like "He wants to go out with you."

Never have I downed a cup of coffee that fast in my life.

Made worse by the fact that a few days later I confessed my true feelings to her.

To this day she pretends I don't exist. But it's all good, I hate her guts now <3

There has been several... incidents. None with catastrophic consequences, but there are three in particular that makes me want to punch myself.

Age 12: I have just fallen in love for the first time and was trying to think of a "pet name" that I could call the girl in question. For some very, very odd reason I settled on "Meatie" (as in meat as an adjective). Seemed like a good idea at the time...

Age 19: I have recently moved to a new dorm and we are having a party. I get along really well with one of the girls there and the night is on track to someplace very pleasant. However, towards the end of the night, alcohol and sleepiness must have scrambled by brains, because all of a sudden I say "Well I'm going to bed... it was great meeting you!", give her a quick hug and walk off to my room. The girl was great looking too! It wasn't embarrassing on the spot, but thinking back on it I just want to cringe.

Age 21: I was at Subway with a friend. I was kind of lost in thought after I had placed my order so I really wasn't paying attention to what was happening. The girl behind the counter asks me if I want extra cheese. I snap out of my dreaming and say "Huh? Tits?". Granted, the words were in Swedish, but that doesn't really help matters. My friend overheard this, and is kind enough to remind me every time we go for lunch.

Oh, and: My first post on these forums!. Hi!

To be honest I don't really recall anything like that, not to a girl who I had any interest in whatsoever that is.

I have confessed feelings to plenty of girls who didn't reciprocate though, although that's more awkward than embarrassing.
