I am Legend - Will Smith No spoilers. Those who have seen the movie know exactly what scene I'm talking about.

Man tears. Every time.

Pretty much any scene in Schindler's List either right before or after Schindler finds his moral compass.

Also, Seven Pounds had me at a few places...Will Smith's performance was masterful.

Pretty much the entire second act of RENT; I posted a few of the songs in the sad songs thread the other day. Culminating in this:
Angel's funeral, where his/her lover Tom Collins sings 'I'll Cover you (Reprise)". Made more poignant by the very happy duet "I'll Cover You" sung earlier between Collins and Angel.

The beginning of "Up" brought me to tears
I wouldn't say brought me to tears, that would just be embarrassing cause I was watching it with a friend. But it was bloody emotional.

I am a grown-ass man. And the only entity on Earth where the password to my tear ducts is Pixar.
Same here, man.

The beginning of UP, for example.

That was heartrendingly beautiful.

Mystic River Scene with Sean Penn a good close second.
Why was this not mentioned before? This scene is a perfect example of genuine acting.

The final battle in The Last Samurai.

"Perfect... they are all... perfect."

Let the man-tears flow.

That's not the most emotional scene I've ever seen, but it's up there.

Don't listen to him man! Avatar was awesome!

Admittedly, it didn't make me cry, but still.
How can you possibly say that? Have you never seen Dances with Wolves or Pocahantos? They copied a scene FRAME BY FRAME from a kids' Disney cartoon? How much lower can you go Hack Cameron?
Seriously? It is bad because it has a similar story to a few films? If you can only say it's like a few, then it's pretty damn original compared to most of what comes out. Why is this the first film that people call for using this type of story line? Why didn't The Last Samurai get any flack for doing it? Oh. and that's right: it's not popular enough so people won't look cool for doing it.

Oh my god, just about any scene from The Pianist.

Didn't really make me cry, but brought watery eyes of anger.

Setsuko slowly starving to death in Grave of the Fireflies. I watched this movie once and then never again because of how soul-crushing it is.

Up had a lot of moments that had me a little teary-eyed, such as the monolouge at the start. And the bit in Toy Story 3 near the end where everyone nearly gets burnt to a crisp.

I'd say the end of Saving Private Ryan is the one that gets me though - "Tell me I've led a good life!"

The ending to A.I.

The storyline, and acting were questionable at best, but it had one of the saddest endings to any film ever made. Hell, i still get teary eyed when i think about it even now, and I'm 21.

The robot boy goes to the abandoned theme park under the sea to find the statue who he thought would make him human (so he would be accepted by the owners who abandoned him). He then waits at the statue hoping that he will be turned into a boy but it never does. Then cut to two thousand years later when all the humans have all died out, and a race of aliens live on the planet. The aliens then thaw the robot out of the ice, and got him working. The boy then asks about his owner, and he then discovers that she has been dead for thousands of years. Then the aliens give the robot boy a opportunity to see his owner, and mother for one more day. He then gives the aliens a strand of hair for his owner which can be used to reproduce a human being with a one day lifespan. He then spends the day with his mum like he once did, and then he closes his eyes for the first time, and the robot dies (because robots die when they close their eyes).

Also, the obvious one's such as forrest gump, and grave of the fireflies were extremely upsetting as well.

I can't even watch grave of the fireflies again, because of that ending.

The final scene left to be erased from Joel's mind in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind in the beachhouse. That scene just... BRB sobbing.
