Most emotional video game endings?

Right, im a big softie and got really :'( at the end of 'Crisis Core' and 'Final Fantasy X'
THEY WERE SO SAD AT THE END.

Okay, so, have any of your guys gotten all sad at the end of a video game?

Grandia 1 was the first...And there were a few others. All RPGs.

Generally, even if I HATE HATE HATE the characters, such as with Star Ocean 4, I still found myself crying, because I just spent 60 hours with these characters, and now it's all over!

Final Fantasy X and X-2 were both like that for me. I had such an investment in the characters, and I was actually sad that the games were coming to an end, because I enjoyed them so much.

You always get sad at the end of good games. Contra for example.

The end of Kingdom Hearts 2 wasn't sad but it was emotional. All of them reunited... it was so happy :')

After about the three minute mark it gets proper "".

I don't know anyone that's seen this and not at least had a little tug on their heartstrings.

Never actually finished X-2 though o.o hr.

Gotta say though, I finished Final Fnatasy 13 the other day and I was just like oh thats a bit sad. meh.

You all reckon they just dont make stories like thy used to? :/

When Gaz died, in MW... I really liked the story for that game. Guess thats why I felt so let down by MW2 and it's utterly rubbish story.

Crisis Core was just as sad in the middle of the game as the end. The only other game in recent memory that affected me was Valkyria Chronicles and I have yet to get to the end of that game.

haha mmh, yeah i suppose a little tug is a good way to describe it, but i dunno, didnt really have the same effect on me as the others did.
i spose the ending of the game isnt really the end though, unlike the 2 i mentioned>_<.

Mmmh i was like omg. yeah that was a real sadface moment.

Yeah MW2 was just ridiculous. the deaths in that were so unneccesary i was like whut is this -_-''. Spose IW had their heads too far up the multiplayer arse.

Silent Hill 2, for one. Bawled like a baby.

Flame all you want, but Final Fantasy VIII had a great ending with fantastic characters, and I cried just a bit.

Final Fantasy X and X-2, especially if you get the good ending on X-2. Just all that hard work for a well-worth it payoff.

[EDIT] OH, and Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2....

That's it. I'm just a baby.

Yeah, I have to agree with Crisis Core. I mean, I always get really into the plot of games and movies, but that one really got me. I had to sit up for an hour breathing deap and telliing myself that it was only a game about a thousand times. That game was so awesome...
