I would have to say that other than those two (Hitler, Stalin) It would be Jack the ripper. Like even though no one knows who he was (there are theory's) What he did was simply horrible. in the best cases all he did was skin them alive.
Honorable mentions include the folks that organized the Cambodian genocide (Pol Pot, Ta mok and the rest) that took 1.7 million lives all up and the Snow town murderers: John Bunting, Robert Wagner, Mark Haydon and James Vlassakis who all took the time to torture their 12 victims with methods such as electrocuting their genitalia and forcing them to eat their own flesh on one case.

I don't think in death counts, I believe horrific actions have more to say. Therefore I think Idi Amin was much worse than Mao. Mao is generally well respected in China, if he was a sick monster that wouldn't be the case. He was a massive jerk on many points, but he gave the country quite a lot of strength and independence.

It's less about the accidental damage to the environment than his unwillingness to look for an alternative. It was more a case of "that will do." I admit it isn't exactly evil but then evil is very subjective being a man made conception. Nothing in nature beyond the human race can be called evil the way we use it.

A soldier is more dangerous than the average person. Are they necessarily more evil?

By dangerous I meant in slit the throat of the victem after they've had their fun for a few days, of course this is after they kept them locked in the basement like an animal. We have had a few cases where people have taken children and kept them as slaves. It happened in the US a couple years back, I can't remember the names but this person was kidnapped and used as a sex-slave of a pedophile for almost half of her life.

To both of you, I was just supporting the point that it's not having a sexual attraction to children that's wrong; it's actually having sex with them. I've never personally met any pedophiles, but I gather that there are quite a few who have an attraction yet understand that the actual sex would be wrong. I'm not sure I feel comfortable saying that kind of person is evil. The example of a solider was to say that the potential to do something shouldn't be counted the same as the act.

When I said pedophile, I mean't child rapist. Getting off to kids is wrong in it's own way but as long as it doesn't escalate from a mere fetish it's tolerable.

Now I KNOW this is probably not a clever thing for me to say BUT, mistaking a paedophile for a child rapist is a HUGE error. I myself am not either of those things, but there is a difference between somebody that cannot help an attraction to something, and a RAPIST.
I am a straight male, I have an attraction to women. OP, would it be OK for you to treat me like somebody that would - or has - raped a woman? Just because I admit an attraction towards females, I am not necessarily going to rape one.
