Oh man. My old, southern grandma spent years in research looking up every intricacy of our family tree, and after following lead after lead, discovered that we were direct descendants of Andrew Jackson. She presented this to me in a very excited manner, and all I could think was "Crap. God, I hope no one finds out. He SUCKED."

Jim Jones led a group of Communist radicals called the People's Temple under the banner of a Christian movement. He moved a congregation of around 1000 people into a town in Guayana, turned it into a prison camp and refused to let anyone in or out. After Congressman Leo Ryan visited the town, the compound's armed guards shot him and several journalists at an airstrip. Jim then gathered his congregation for a mass suicide. Around 900 of them killed themselves.

That's why I hate cults.
Don't forget David Koresh, the guy who claimed to be the second coming of Jesus and promptly started a gunfight with the FBI after they were investigating his house for a stockpile of assult rifles... after he already recruited 140 women as wives he forced to stay in the house with him even after it was being flooded with tear gas...
I would get more info on Koresh before you go with that accusation. Granted, I don't personally like any organized religion, but Koresh was more victim than nutjob. He was murdered for no reason except for being different. This difference might be something I don't personally agree with, but in this F'd up nation of mine I'll fight for your right to be different so long as it does not infringe upon the personal freedoms of another. Professor Hicks, please take it away.

So much hate in one thread. This makes me sad.

It's hard to call O'Reilly or anyone like him "evil". Misguided, possibly. But the thing you have to remember is that TV stations need viewers to sell ads and make a profit, and he wouldn't have a show if people didn't watch him.

And I'm not even going to touch calling a current politician 'the most evil human in history'. (Besides, if there's an award for 'most evil US president', Nixon and Jackson are probably fighting over it right now.)

Hm... how about.. the Eternal President of the Republic of North Korea, Kim Il-sung?

Shiro Ishii

he was the director of unit 731 responsible for allot of inhumane experiments (infecting the local populous with various deceases, vivisection on human,s,testing the effects of frag grenades on human targets etc.)
the worst thing is the US caught him and let him go in exchange for the research data never spending a day in jail for the crimes he committed towards the humanity.

Pedophiles? Oh come on OP, you can't help being retarded just like you can't help being a pedophilia. At least that's what Wikipedia tells me...

Anyway, I have no idea. My definition of 'evil' isn't fixed.
Sounds like you took a lot of offense there, something you want to tell us? And calling me retarded? Why? Some Pedophiles are more sick and dangerous than just people with a fetish.
My key-words are 'wikipedia' and 'tells me.' Having said that, I hope I'm in the right direction instead of the gross miss-use of the term which is used all the bloody time by my school peers. Hell if they an adult looks 'dodgy' they're now a pedophile. If someone is a pedophile, it doesn't mean they're going to molest a child. [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pedophilia]

I'm no psychologist.

I'll quote wikipedia here " Pol Pot's leadership, in which he attempted to "cleanse" the country, resulted in the deaths of an estimated 1.7?2.5 million people."

The guy in charge of Silicon Knights (I forget his name.) He's evil for the fact that he's determined to make Too Human a series.

If I have to go with someone who people actually describe as evil then I guess I'll go with Mao Zedong for the same reasons stated in the above comments about him.

Elizabeth Bathory

She kidnapped virgin peasants and bathed in their blood.
Although an extremely busy serial murderess, the tales of her virgin bloodbaths are now attributed mainly to legend. However, the legends make for a much juicier story, and with that in mind I'd like to submit Madame Delphine LaLaurie. Just some excerpts from her rather sordid tale:

"Male slaves, stark naked, chained to the wall, their eyes gouged out, their fingernails pulled off by the roots; others had their joints skinned and festering, great holes in their buttocks where the flesh had been sliced away, their ears hanging by shreds, their lips sewn together ... Intestines were pulled out and knotted around naked waists. There were holes in skulls, where a rough stick had been inserted to stir the brains."

"A victim [who] obviously had her arms amputated and her skin peeled off in a circular pattern, making her look like a human caterpillar," and another who had had her limbs broken and reset "at odd angles so she resembled a human crab."

"There were buckets of genitalia, makeshift sex-change operations, brains stirred with sticks, women nailed to floors by their intestines, tongues sewn together, mouths stuffed with excrement and stitched up, females flayed to resemble caterpillars, suits of human skin, sliced penises, "human crabs", bottles of blood and "grand gore chambers."

Just like Countess Bathory, the accounts of her deviance are more than likely wildly exaggerated, but never let the truth get in the way of a good story!
Annnnnnd there goes any chance I had of sleeping well tonight.

OT: I would put forward Lucifer, but he is a spiritual entity, not a human.
I would have to concur with Josef Mengele. That man was f****** f***** up! Thinking about him makes me ill.

That recent arrest, Mladic I think his name was. Butcher of Bosnia. Absolute fucking ****. I hope a few people manage to snatch him before the Hague necks him. What'll happen to him should not be quick or easy.

I'm going with this guy...

No, he's not really "evil" or the "worst ever," but he does have a large part in American civilization back pedaling so voraciously and being so proud of it. He really should be taken off the air. With a sniper bullet, if that's what it takes.
I don't get why someone can get banned on this website for posting "First" on a forum, but when you advocate the murder or a TV personality b/c you disagree with him... Maybe you should add your name to the list..
Yeah... The sniper assassination part? That was a joke. The "[being] a large part in American civilization back pedaling so voraciously and being so proud of it?" That was the sentiment. I have no issue with people I disagree with, some I even love (Yahtzee, to name someone on this site). The problem I have with Mr. Bill is the amount of power he wields over the American public... Power no one political figure, much less journalist, should ever have.

Did you actually think I was "advocating murder?" Because, if so, you have officially upstaged the original joke!
Honestly, if you want to make a joke, you need to put a "lol" or something to show your joking. Sarcasm doesn't come across well in posts...

Also, he really doesn't have that much "power". He has a TV and radio show, just like Ed Shultz, Rachel Maddow, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Keith Olberman (use too, Lawrence O'Donnell, Chris Matthews, and many other Liberal and Conservative commentators. They are opinion/commentary shows and I know for a fact that most of these people don't frame themselves as "journalists" (a term i don't think really exists anymore), but commentators who put the news in the perspective of their believes.

The issue is, the liberal ones are never really successful commercially. Most MSNBC commentators are liberals while most of Fox News are conservatives (Ironic that the people who ***** about Fox News won't point out the liberal bias on MSNBC/NBC News, but I digress...). MSNBC constantly gets their butt handed to them by Fox News and center left leaning CNN.

When most Americans have a choice to watch a commentator, they choose Bill, or Sean, or Beck, not Rachel, or ED, or Lawrence.

This is because the majority of the country is center-right/libertarian/conservative. There is a loud group of hard-left liberals and communist/socialist that have a large voice in the news and entertainment media that have great sway, but it never sticks.

So, to sum it all up.
1.Sorry I misunderstood the joke, but you may want to denote that its a joke next time to protect yourself
2. The only power Bill has is the one given to him by a fan base and a nation that doesn't always agree with him, but have more libertarian/Conservative values

Caligula. . If you wanna know why. He watched his whole city burn while playing the violin. And forced people to watch him act (he was crap) And if they didnt like it they got executed.
Nero you're thinking of mate. And just to be clear violins hadn't been invented yet and Nero actually acted quickly and effectively to try and stop the fire.

Now Caligula, he was a much nastier piece of work. Started well, then took Bacchus' revelries a bit to far for modern liking (or ancient Roman for that matter).

I don't know my history all that well and I don't know allot of evil people who ever lived ever to compare to each other, but if I were to make a conclusion with the limited knowledge I have I would have to say that the most evil man I know of who was the biggest scum of the earth had to be...

Adolf Hitler. Yes alright I know he is a very common figure of hate,as was Joseph Stalin.

Alright, other than THOSE two, the most evil man I know of is Vlad the impaler, he impaled victims on pikes in such a way as to slow their death and in great quantities. Their digestive organs would be damaged and the victims would slowly die as their digestive acids burned their internals. The pike would go up the anus and come out of the mouth, which would make breathing very painful and difficult and he would leave them in this position with the pike firmly attached to the ground and in the outdoors with the harsh elements. He impaled adults, families, children, boys and girls, everyone.

Of course, I wrote this from memory and from what I saw on either the history channel or national geographic, can't remember, but I may have some inaccuracies here and there, as would any piece of writing.

I'm gonna go with everyone of us. I really don't count Hitler and Stalin as evil persons neither, before you start to rage to me let me explain this to you:

From my point of view, the world is kinda shitty place and life isn't really that great neither afterall. Also, there isn't anything completely evil or completely good in this world, because it all depends on your point of view of the things, if you would've been a jew in germany circa 1940's, yes you would've probably though that Hitler is the antichrist or something. But if you would've been a regular german citizen who didn't even belong to the Nazi party, you most probably wouldn't have viewed him as evil.

It's easy for us to say that things are evil or not, mostly because most of us live in the west and we view the world trough western (lets call it blue) tinted glasses. We can say that the some of the muslims are evil, because they give no rights to their women, but do they really view themselves as evil. Did Stalin think: "Today I'm gonna do evil things mwahahaha" and so forth.

But yeah Mao is still a *****.

Pol Pot is definitely one of the worst; I believe he holds some kind of record for being able to exterminate around a quarter of his country's population in little more than four years (correct me if I'm wrong).
He killed;
Middle and upper class citizens, regardless of political alignment - they were bourgeoisie, therefore enemies of the proletariat and therefore had to be exterminated; that means all doctors, teachers, professors etc; even communist sympathisers were killed because they weren't Khmer Rouge
People who wore glasses - they must have been given them by the previous government therefore were in cahoots with the previous rulers, so they had to go; that's messed up logic
Non-Cambodians - Laotians, Vietnamese and Thai minorities in the country were either forced out or murdered
Journalists (including foreigners), intellectuals outside the Khmer Rouge party and educated people all had to go as well under his regime because they could hold views contrary to his party.
In Pol Pot's Cambodia, you didn't have to oppose him physically or vocally to be put on the government extermination list; you just had to be and that was bad enough.

Before I forget; a couple of Nazis
Joseph Mengele; he experiment on, tortured and murder children in experiments that had no scientific value or real goal. That is just sick. Worst part is he escaped and lived comfortably for the rest of his life in South America.
Adolf Eichmann; he was responsible of the transportation of people to the concentration camps; he kept their belongings and sold them for profit.
