England Rugby star Jonny Wilkinson who won the world cup and was the most famous sports star in England for about 6 months when people started giving a shit about Rugby. I met him at an Indian resteraunt.

My friend met, and had dinner with, the Queen of England, David Becham, his wife, and a whole lot of other famous people when she recieved her OBE (prestigious british honour for being awesome)

Is that crude innuendo?
No I just didn't meet her directly.
Oh...okay. Kinda...y'know, hoping for a funny story.

I'll just...go...now...
I think I know what you were thinking of but unfortunatley my life is never that exciting.

I met George A Romero a couple of years ago. He was so awesome. We chatted about zombies and it made my life complete.

I got to interview the lass who wrote that biography about the Chinese girl living during China's Cultural Revolution. It's 4:00 AM here though, so I can't for the life of me remember her name or the title of the book.
Wild Swans by Jung Chang?

Oh, yes... I have met Douglas Adams.

I met Paris Hilton a couple days ago. She's much more elegant in person, and she's actually quite nice.

I saw Chris Sabat (voice of Vegeta, Picollo, Yamcha, half the rest of the DBZ cast and several other characters) the other day at Supanova. My friend got his autograph.

I shook hands with a Norwegian sort-of-rapper-midget a couple of years ago...and 1st or 2nd of January this year on the plane back from the US, I met a famous Lithuanian football(soccer) player (though I forgot his name...I'm not interested in sports). Real nice guy though

I've met a number of different musicians from bands that I like, but none of the bands I like are particularly famous. I'd thus have to go with Bruce Campbell, who happened to be signing in autobiography "If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a B-Movie Actor" at the Hastings where I worked at the time.
