Most ridiculous way to die in a video game

Soooo many.
In castlevania circle of the moon im about to run into a save room which heals me when i save with a ghost spawns right in front of me while im running. Let it be noted that i was NOT playing on magician and that i had more then 20 health left.
In Dante's Inferno in the gluttony level as i was crossing the bridge apperently dante saw a very shiny quarter in the head of a rotting corpse and decided to jump even though i wasn't pressing anything.
In Castlevania 64 after the first fight as carrie I spontanously gained the ability and dropped DEAD, goodness knows how.
In halo 3 I was going up by a grav lift when a dark green crate smashes me on the head - boom theres goes my 21 kill perfection. THANKS BUNGIE!
In Aion I survived a perhaps thousand foot drop from the top of the game map only to get killed moments later while sitting down by lag and a monster 20 lvls lower then me.
and in Defense of the Ancients, my character ran into the river and suddenly everyone on the map died. Chuck Norris must have labeled DOTA as lame.

In oblivion I used a chest in the bruma castle servant quarters as my personal vault. Well one time I was going to get some stuff out for alchemy or something. When bam guard shows up and is like your stealing. Im like screw that resist arrest, and gacked the poor guard. Unfortunatly he called back up, I got out of the room to be greeted by like 15 guards...
While that's at least somewhat realistic, it seems a bit unnecessary in a game. But it is still ridiculous.Sacman said:

Being turned into an eggplant by one enemy and then being squashed by another. I do miss the creativity of some of the old games...
In JUMP! Ultimate Stars, Dio can crush his opponents with a steamroller. He doesn't run them over, he falls from the sky with it then beats on it until it explodes. Really strange if you (like me) have never seen/read that far into Jojo's Bizarre Adventure to find out it's kinda what he does anyway.
I broke Gordon's legs in HL2 by jumping on a wooden board thanks to the janky physics the game has sometimes.
Old sierra adventures have the weirdest ones.
The one i remmeber the most is from leisure suit larry 6 (it has some really weird ways to die).One is if you open a door in the bar it leads to the full outside pool. So you drown when all the water comes out when you open that door O.O.

In halo on blood gulch level i think it's called. i had the scorpion tank but was shot by the other team with their tank and died, but for some reason the tank refused to give up, so it started spinning like crazy, the one who killed me didn't notice but the others in the room started lauging seeing the tank bugging like that. Then the spinning tank hit his and it exploded, killing the driver and avenging me, good times.
