Marvel universe has a few comics about the normal people they get along fine :D. Medical insureance is high but thats life :D

Easily the Christian mythos.

Sent to hell for not killing your child if it talked back, eating shellfish, even thinking about watching TV, for enjoying breathing. Oh & wearing cloth of two fabrics.

Lovecraft universe would be fine unless you lived in a creepy backwater filled with hicks or were from an old wealthy family :D Middle class terror Mauahahahaha Id like Lovecraft land :D.

Warhammer 40k universe where I would probably be an adept or at best low rank techpriest (oh so very expendable) or the Great Underground Empire, I like the dark so would get eaten by a grue.

I'd hate to be a supporter of the death penalty in the DC universe.

Every other week, the same person murders a few dozen people, very nearly destroys the world, and gets captured by "heroes" who refuse to kill them to stop it all, only for them to escape overnight to do it again.

You'd go mad.

Actually, would worse being an adherent of any mainstream religion, given that gods from other beliefs appear on TV every so often.
You could try living on the Justice Lord's parallel Earth where there's alot less crime but alot less of everything else you have to admit they don't do anything halfway.

Edit: From what I hear it would flatout suck to be in Limbo's Universe.

I'd actually be alright with that...

Capture one of them sparklies, skin him/her, make shoes, purses and boots, wait for skin to grow again -> repeat.

I'd make millions...Mwahahaha!

Wonderland. A world where any food or drink could horribly mutate you, inanimate objects and plants come to life without warning, and even playing cards and chess pieces are deadly.

And people keep trying to make Wonderland *even more* grim and dark.

defiantly dead space!

I would have gone with WH40K but that had been mentioned alot.

c'mon, i think we can all agree that it would be the scariest thing ever to be on the Ishimura (spelling?) when it got infested with those things!

People disagreeing with WH40K are missing one thing:
EVERYBODY wants you dead. EVERYBODY. You hear me? EVERYBODY!
Eldar, Orks, Tau, Necron, Dark Eldar, Sisters of Battle, Imperial Guard, Chaos Daemons, Space Marines, Chaos Space Marines, Hrud, Enslavers, Inquisition. EVERYBODY WANTS YOU DEAD.

Dwarf Fortress. You never know when a Bronze Colossus is going to stomp you to death, or when a possessed crafter will go into a berserk rage, or when some well-equipped adventurer will beat a mother to death with her own baby.

Tamriel in Oblivion, teleporting guards that get stronger as you do, never stop following you and always know where you are AND try and arrest you for the absolute smallest thing?

*look at melon* *move melon around on table* STOP! YOU VIOLATED THE LAW!
Augh, no kidding. One time I was in an inn in the Imperial city and I went to talk to the bartender and I accidentally picked up one of the items on the bar. Of course everyone starts freaking out "Ah theif ahhhhh!" and whatever. So I'm like "Ooops! Didn't mean to do that." and I frickin' put the thing back down and leave the bar. This guard then comes running up, "Stop you've violated the law!!"
Me: "WHAT?! I put the thing back!"
...stupid guard.

Fucking Brilliant!!

OT: Probably anything Lovecraftian in nature, or that little town in AvP2. Seriously anything involving the Alien creture would be awful.
