The Glock in Counter-Strike (all versions). A total pea-shooter, even compared to other pistols in the game. Leaves the Terrorists out-gunned by default in the first round.

And if you'll allow me to get a little obscure:

The C96 in Day of Defeat: Source. A pipsqueek of a machine-pistol with a tiny magazine to boot. Unload on a guy at midrange and still not kill him.

Doom 3's primary weapons were all unsataisfactory. The shotgun was only useful at far too close range, the rifle sounded like it had all the effectiveness of an automatic airsoft rifle (comparing it to an airsuft gun is being kind) and the pistol was only slightly better than beating your foe to death with a flashlight.

I actually found all of the CoD: WaW pistols to be surprisingly reliable, especially compared to those in other games.

Relilable, yes. Accurate, Yes. Satisfactory? NOOOOO WAY!

When all it takes is one well-placed round to kill your enemy with a pistol, I think that's pretty satisfactory.

Long Toms in Mechwarrior 4. The manual said that the recoil from one was enough to make a large mech step back, but I couldn't get a comic response from firing one out of a ****ing RAVEN.

The hunting rifle from l4d,it was quicker to kill enemies at long range with the auto shotty spam then it was waiting for the goddamn cross hairs to tighten.

Infact it's so bad in the next game they're demoting it to a tier 1 weapon instead of tier 2.

He's fun the first few times, but then it just becomes boring - 'here's an enemy, I'll use Cthulu again'. *yawn*

The Chinese pistol from Fallout 3, I tried it once on a lone raider for kicks. I stuck firmly with the 10mm pistol after that event.

I beat the game in normal with only plasma pistols, it was fun. I agree though plasma pistols
