Shawshank Redemption is top of my list, even though it's not my favourite. I just think it's just an epic story that everyone should enjoy. I typically hate prison films/dramas, but this is just an amazing film.

.Rec. Not that shitty remake called "Quarantine". Make yourselves with the original spanish movie. It's the most immersive horror movie I have ever seen, and I don't say this because I am spanish. Rec happens to be the only spanish movie I like. Spanish cinema sucks, except for .Rec.

As for other movies, Pixar movies should be watched by every human being in the world, no matter the age.

I've seen A Clockwork Orange on a few people's lists... I didn't actually like it. I guess it's not as shocking when most of the events described are also mentioned on the evening news on a regular basis...

Anyway, films I think everyone/most people should have seen (or, basically, a list of my favourite films, minus the comedies):
Pulp Fiction
The Shawshank Redemption
Gladiator
Watchmen
The Prestige
V for Vendetta
The Dark Knight
Star Wars (The original trilogy)
Sin City
Equilibrium
L4yer Cake

A lot of films of an action/drama theme, basically...

The Digimon Movie!

What? You all knew I was gonna say it! Fine! Star Wars! You have to have at least seen one of them.

Calumon: The one's with me in it! ^^
Seriously, Jack. You CAN have a different interest as well, if you want. It's okay.

My answer:

Snatch. And possibly Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.
