Watchmen - I remember seeing threads on quite a few forums saying how bad it was, but I loved it, and I also loved the graphic novel. Same goes for V for vendetta, Loved both the movie and the graphic novel.

Must just be me
You are not alone, I loved Watchmen. Oh and Z-land.

Hitch hiker's guide to the galaxy. I liked it and everyone I seem to know hated it.
Because of the low resemblence to the book I think you'll find. Hell the low-budget tv sho was better.

Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. I still believe this was a triumph of a movie with a beautiful story and great action.

Dungeons & Dragons (the first and the sequel). Wrath of the Dragon God, the sequel, delivered a better D&D experience and some really nice visuals. But the first had a sense of humor the second lacked, especially some of the inadvertent comedy that came along with the overacting.

I liked both the Star Wars Prequels and Indiana Jones and The Crystal Skull. I couldn't really understand the venom people had for them but I guess it's because I was born in 1990 and didn't see any of the originals until after I saw the new movies.

I also liked the Transformers movies which seems to get a lot of harshness from people about ten years older then me. Once again i think it's because I grew up in the 90's and thus pretty much didn't ever own a transformer toy.

I also love the entire Tremors series. People often feel the need to verbally reprimand me for referring to the first film in the series as a "classic"

Shoot Em Up as well. Some people give me crap for that but I like Clive Owen and sometimes you don't really need a plot to enjoy something. A string of random gun violence and one-liners is enough to keep your ass in a chair for an hour and 20 minutes.

Dune directed by David Lynch

Dune directed by Alan Smithee

Love them both dearly but most people I know consider them to be utter pants.

I Liked the three star wars prequels. They are superior to the old ones in some respects and it's Lucas's decision. I don't like midi-chlorians or Jar-Jar either but there were other things that were good. Just saying.

Transformers.

Yeah, indeed, I admit. What can I say? The macho-man deep inside me loves all the explosions, and the nerd inside me loves watching giant robots duke it out, even though it's hard to follow. I haven't seen Revenge of the Fallen though, and I doubt I'd mind it as much as most people apparently do.

And also the Star Wars prequels. The Phantom Menace is actually my favourite. I really don't mind midi-chlorians (just a Force sensitivity indicator people, nothing more), Jar-Jar was annoying but not that bad and least it didn't have Emo-Anakin. It did have Liam Neeson, Darth Maul and a friggin' awesome podrace.

Just a few samples out of many, many films:

* Last Action Hero
* Reptilicus
* Hard To Die
* Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes
* Return Of The Killer Tomatoes (for a great multitude of reasons, not least of which can be summed up in two words: Karen Mistal.)
* Girlfriend From Hell
* Starcrash (C'mon, it has Caroline Munro in ridiculously skimpy outfits and The Hoff wielding a lightsaber! Who needs a coherent plot?)

- Cloverfield
- Once Upon a Time in Mexico (actually one of my top movies of all time)
- The Matrix: Reloaded/Revolutions (the second one was a great sequel. The third tied up the story well, but I don't see myself watching it anytime soon)
- Old movies that my friends don't like because they're... old. Ugh. I like Casablanca! Sergio Leone is great! What do you mean you haven't seen The Godfather or Goodfellas!?

Also,V for Vendetta is another I'll mention.

Godzilla (New York movie). I know it's bad, but for some reason I can't bring myself to hate it. Nostalgia maybe.

Blade 2, I could not understand how all my friends hated that movie, I mean they love Blade Trinity which I personally found very boring.

National Treasure.

One AND two!

Yeah.
Ah, thanks for the reminder, I will throw in the Lord of War to this list as well.
People hate these films? Holy hell. I loved them.

I have nothing really to contribute, since I don't really know what others hate.

I was just shocked people hate them, mind = blown.

28 Weeks Later, Zombieland
there are people who didn't like 28 or Zombieland?? (I mean of course there are but in threads like these you usually mention movies that A LOT of people didn't like)

Mine would have to be "Plan 9 from outer space"
