My girlfriend gave me a hickie and I don't own any turtlenecks, how do I hide it?

Lol, I hate hickies my mum doesn't care about them she just makes jokes ALL the time when I have one. Though that time it did look like a fucking cancer.

If you come out wearing a bandanna or a scarf or have a huge pink blotch of goo on your neck they're gonna ask whats up anyways.

Also woh, you really 17? Thats a mighty crap age for parents to be overprotective, i feel for you.
I'm almost 19 and my brother is 20, and our parents are still extremely over protective.

If anyone knows how to stop parents being over-protective, I need to know. ASAP.
Nothing works - as a parent I can guarantee that, it comes with the territory - and age doesn't matter either, you can be 35 and your parents will still be doting on you and trying to keep anything bad from happening to you. It's built in.

Just so you know, they are more worried about teen pregnancy if you pop up with a hickey.

Damn it. I'd better hurry up and move out then, at least that way they won't know what I'm up to.

Do a dangerous stunt and make it appear as though it made everything alot better

e.g.

go camping faroff from any civlization for a few days or a week

get into racing cars

buy a Motorbike

or you could just do the old fashion distance yourself from them

EDIT: show them that they are dumb and illeterate while you are smart and awesome

But i think the best one that is most likey to work is "I love you"

I'd try toothpaste.

Difficult to distance yourself from people you share a house with.

As for dangerous stunts, just not my style. I'd be more worried about it going wrong than them.

In warmer months your options are very limited. Depends on where it is on your neck. Me? I suggest wearing a full ninja outfit. It will cover your face and your secrets. Funny how many problems I solve with "dress up like a Ninja."

Attempt to show to them the various merits and address the concerns of whatever it is that you are in dispute over. If any more concerns pop up, cut them down with logic and reason. If that doesn't work, nothing will; your best bet would be to just do x or y whilst lying - i.e. go to Party x while claiming to be going to the cinema with Co-Partygoer d, and synchronise stories if the situation arises where you are asked.

You can use coverup, you can buy some at any Walgreen's in the makeup section.
