The last boss.
I thought that it was REALLY difficult. I was playing on Normal!

Maybe it's because I played it on the console.
Either that, or I'm just terrible at it.
Uh.... isn't the last boss supposed to be difficult? Or ideally supposed to be difficult? Or do you prefer a final boss like Lucien in Fable II?
NO! Lucien wasn't a boss fight. He was....garbage!

Yeah, the boss WAS supposed to be difficult, but I know someone (my brother) who beat it in 30 minutes on hard difficulty.

Still, I'd rather have a very difficult boss fight than a....Fable II "boss fight".
Ya the Archdemon is pretty easy if you have balistas, but if they all break and you have no rogue it can be a pain. Not exactly fun to shoot at it with a bow when you deal 20 damage a hit. Ya I didn't like the balancing above all else. I'd get to the Broodmother, who'd rape me over and over, then fight the Archdemon and not die once.

BTW, I was under the impression the final boss fight in Fable 2 was with that giant triangle thingy that spawns guys. Still is a sad excuse for a boss fight, but still, Lucian just seemed like revenge.

I became very bored with it after a while. Missions last too long to remain interesting. Enemies rapidly outclass you if you do not have a full-time healer with 500 Lyrium potions with you. There's only one best way to play the game, (in which order to do quests) any other sequence and enemies and chests will outlevel you very fast.

But especially that the missions last too long. For example, I am sick and tired of anything related to the fade.

I loved that game, but the lack of expression in the characters faces was indescribably awkward.
They would switch from happy to angry and the only thing that changed was their tone of voice. *shudder*

Arl Eamons' wife. Good god that accent was annoying, and for some reason it really made the Bioware face so much more obvious.

The ridiculous achievements that required that I beat the game at least 10 times before I can unlock them all... On the PC version at least. Other than that, it was a really good game, in my opinion.
I LOVE YOUR AVATAR!

Can I haz?!

Because it looked epic in the CGI movie they made and then the combat was pretty much point and click with a level of epicness equivalant to a brick.

I think her accent is the only authentic non-American or British one in the game, which I was personally glad for. I did find the way she said "Connor" a little grating after a while though.

Of course!

I actually had framed. It is currently resting over my fireplace above my bearskin rug.

EDIT: In retrospect, I kind of feel guilty for highjacking this thread to make it about otters, but oh well! No regrets!

I didn't mind the fade level...

Should I start running now, or will you just beat me to death?

It was an overly oppressive world. Mages are treated like slaves/military assets, What little government there is either is about to fall or is lining up to betray everyone else. That and i just couldn't related to any of the characters like i could with Bioware's other games.

I found the Broodmother to be pretty easy, but that's just me.

Also: So, I'm the only one that took more than one hour to kill the Archdemon?

I...feel sad...

The mage hats and the fact they didn't conclude anything with Witch Hunt. I was like "yay Morrigan for 5 seconds", then it was "the end!". what the hell was that?

I felt that the mage became underpowered...and their were really only a few useful spells, so most of your talents went unused.

Not to mention the mage's clothes, I mean I didn't feel powerful to begin with and then they make you wear that stuff-and the HATS!!! aaarrgghh!!

It pretty much felt like an extremely dumbed down Baldur's Gate 2 with a FAR less interesting villan. Pretty sad when even a dragon can't fill Jon Irenicus' shoes.
I was playing with 3 mages + shale on my team, never felt underpowered at any moment. :s

Combat! it just got boreing and the towns and citys felt flat and empty. I also disliked how the game assumed things like it assumed my character was intrested in the ginger girl and elf. Yet i didnt even care about them.
