There were several things.

The scripting of companions was clunky at best, broken at worst.
I ran into more glitchy terrain than I could keep track of.
Dialogues needed to be done in proper order, and it wasn't clear which order that was.
The inventory system...every 3 minutes I had to stop to sort my bags, equip upgrades, spread my old gear among companions, keep track of what to keep for those companions at the base, junk stuff I didn't need...just too much micro-management.
Plot items never disappeared. Even after their usefulness had passed.
Combat had 6 attack buttons, most characters had more than 6 attacks I wanted bound there.

In spite of this I really liked the game. I am hopeful that Bioware developers will do to this game what they did to Mass Effect. Narrow it down, maybe get rid of the inventory all together, narrow down the talent trees, tighten up the combat system and release a new and improved game. It is Bioware, and that brings a lot of hope.

For a game that I loved so much, I actually have a few complaints.
2. The Underwear
Yeah, its a petty gripe, I´m sorry, but why would they insist on keeping their underwear on?
Ok, not that many, but I really hated the balancing.
The artist would of killed himself after doing Wynn. Or was it Wrynn? whoever old lady is

That it ended. That it made me stay up till 6am playing it. That it was too easy, I finished both it and awakening on nightmare (but that's probably because Arcane Warrior is so overpowered it's not funny).

Real complaints, it was pretty lifeless, every piece of armour and weapon was stupidly oversized and while you can replay it, it more the same than different, as in the replayability is not as great as cracked up to be.

I felt that the mage became underpowered...and their were really only a few useful spells, so most of your talents went unused.

Not to mention the mage's clothes, I mean I didn't feel powerful to begin with and then they make you wear that stuff-and the HATS!!! aaarrgghh!!
Mage was way overpowered, a blood mage/spirit healer is pretty much the most powerful thing in game, as is any combination of arcane warrior and something else (yes even shapeshifter if you play it right). Being an arcane warrior also means not being limited to lame gear. Don't even get me started on the Battlemage class from Awakening.

And finally I was not fond of the pacing of the action. It seemed like you either walked around talking to people for a really long time or you were fighting for a really long time. Rarely did you do a little bit of both and it led to some sections (of both kinds) feeling like they dragged on a little too long.
I agree, it was really hard to show my friends the combat when they asked about the game, because I'd save (and stop playing) after every huge dungeon.

-The Fade during the Circle section.
-The combat in general.
-MY mage felt really underpowered.
-The NPC healer couldn't heal for shit, I had to specialize in spirit healing just to take over.

Huh, I guess I didn't like Dragon Age too much. It started off great for me but just petered off.

The random loot dropping. Easily the worst part. Especially the Warden Tower Shield, Chevalier armor and the Robes of the Gifted. Also, the mage hats were terrible.

On the Xbox 360 version. The graphics. They were pretty ugly. Also the load times were pretty annoying. The system of equipping weapons and armour was a pain. Some of the levels were boring (Dwarves).

Overall I went through a stage of kind of enjoying it but I stopped about two thirds of the way through. I might return one day when I'm bored but the story lost momentum for me.

Oh, and the way Morrigan spoke. Annoyed the crap out of me.

I honestly couldnt get into it at all. The story seemed nifty, but the attrocious combat and "that" dream level turned me off it
+1 It is f'n boring, and I don't like the combat, I can't even force myself into putting more than 10 hours into it (I actually have multiple different saves).

*spoilers*

Broken classes, for starters. If you wanted to tank, your best bet was an arcane warrior/blood mage...if you wanted to dps, your best bet was a blood mage/arcane warrior...if you wanted to sneak around, you had to be...nothing, because stealth was useless. why would you need to scout/lay traps when they aren't nearly as effective as magic.
And the duelist/ranger classes were completely broken. Apparently DEX doesn't really let you dodge at all, which means rogue classes have piss weak defenses. And the pets were completely weak.

Game play wise, what the fuck are all these people for, really? at the end mission you split the party, but only once. Otherwise most of your "team" warms the bench until the credits roll.

Story-wise, there were a few shining examples of great moral dilemmas, but the choices you made always created the same fucking result.

This was a game created with a massive budget by people who care only as much as their pay pushes them to. Which, for the most part, is very little.
