I still need myself a nerd girlfriend. Games, computers, intellect, and girl at the same time!?

..With the bewbies.

Now, if only I can get over my emotional intimacy issues (deficiency) and social ineptness, I'll be 10% of the way there!

..Yeah, I'm a cynic.

I don't believe it.
I do that to my fella. It's part of Tantric sex, apparently it feels really nice.

My boyfriends a nerd and I love it ^-^ corrr there's nothing I like more than a man who knows his way around a computer ;) lol.
You wouldn't think he's a geek by looking at him, so it's okay.
He's never really done anything romantic for me, apart from write me a song which I haven't heard yet and say romantic things to me sometimes.

My boyfriends aren't ever quite nerdy enough. Or, I should say, we aren't on the same level of nerdiness.

Maybe this Christmas the man can step up his game and buy me a sweet new video game or an external hard drive. :D

I guess one of the more romantic things my boyfriend ever did for me was cook me a massive breakfast for dinner for Valentine's Day. It doesn't sound romantic, but it was delicious, and the way to my heart is food.

Well I'd be a tad old fashion and seranade at her window with my instrument of choice (saxophone =3) just before I would take her out to dinner... if I ever get a girlfriend that is =/

Plus I did this apparently cute little flash animation for my ex when she was feeling particularly ill once, she told me it cheered her right up, so I was certainly happy =)

Gee.. know that i think of it i haven`t done anything big for my girlfriend.
The most romantic thing that i have done must been the time when i gave her a flower when we made it to the month (i know that`s horribly bad said, sorry ) or when i gave her a ring for no special reason. Girls really like that, when you give her something just because you love her.

Not all nerds are "romantic" or whatever, most of them are obnoxious pricks. Don't believe me? World of Warcraft.
Those are not "nerds".

Those are soulless creatures.
Get your terminology right, god <.<

In response to OP, my girlfriend is a big gamer, so I got her a PSP for her birthday because she had been expressing interest in mine, so now we play Dissidia and Monster Hunter together. The really romantic part is that she loves the color purple, so I got her a limited edition sparkly purple one even though I could've gone with a used black one and put a vinyl on it.

I'm going to be honest, I love nerd guys. I find they're intelligent, helpful and generally more romantic than most people give them credit for. If you have a girlfriend, what's the most romantic thing you're done for her? If you don't, what would be the most romantic thing you would do when find her?
I'm single right now, but when I had a partner, I found out what her favourite musical artist was in the whole world, booked him a show in my city, and put her on as the support act.

Don't know which is nerdier:

1.)To hold her birthday present (a printout of her pass to the anime convention Sakura Con), I meticulously cut out a papercraft model of Hello Kitty, and attached the form to its arm.
2.)Last Christmas I made her a Build-a-Bear... based on me. Besides the glasses, khakis & fleece vest, I attached some Star Wars CCG cards to one paw, a wargaming mini in the other, and put a Magic deck in its backpack.

She loved both, btw.

I prefer nerdy/geeky guys as well. But the ones I get or have gotten were still relatively good-looking (since I can be a shallow wench). Anyway, my boyfriend has done lots of romantic things for me. I think the best is we stayed over in NYC for Valentine's Day weekend. He got me a scanner too! He's done lots of other cute things like get me random gifts, take me out to dinner, etc etc. I don't even ask for anything. I'll just show him a link to like, a necklace or something and he might get it the next time I saw it.

He's been my best friend of 7 years and has been dating me for over 1 year. ♥ him. :D

OT: My approaches to romance generally screw up. Such as buying a girl roses when it turned out she was horribly allergic to pollen...
Was she alright???

Because if she was then I am sorry but the moment I read that I became hysterically amused by a combination of pity (for the failure of your romance (seriously mate, I wish it hadn't turned out that way, I really do)) and sheer frankness (the way you wrote it was so hilariously blunt).

If she wasn't, then I am even more sorry.

OT: I have/had very few female friends. The most significant ones went in this order
1. Best friend - We grew apart.
2. Major Crush - Broke my heart.
3. Friend - Turned twilight fan-girl (kinda ruined the whole 'friend' thing).
4. Had a crush on me - 2+ years my junior (basically she is too young and I don't have those feelings for her).

So yeah, in conclusion, I have never had a girlfriend to be romantic with, but if I did my plan would go like this
1. Prepare an apple pie
2. Invite her to my house
3. Cook awesome stir-fry
4. Put pie in oven (secretly) while we eat (romantic dinner, with candles and roses and stuff)
5. Watch her favourite movie(s)
6. Get pie out of the oven when it beeps (the timer beeps)
7. Surprise her with dessert
8. Lay hand in hand together watching the movie(s)
9. Fall asleep next to eachother
Yeah so that's my plan, mainly because the kind of girl I want would prefer me to go to the effort of making her dinner rather than just buying her some at a restaurant, and falling asleep in eachother's arms is my idea of romantic (also I like candles)

If I had a missus, I don't know if it'd be romantic, but I'd influence her to keep spending time with her friends.

I've noticed the women in my family and my friend?s girlfriends tend to drop all their pals as soon as they get a boyfriend, which they spend all their time with (usually ending in disaster in the long run). I wouldn't want my other half to end up a recluse because of me.

In the long-term she came out of it ok. In the short term she was in hospital for 3 hours on an oxygen tank. This is one of the reasons why my school mates think I'm cursed with this stuff.

Another girl had serious nut allergy. Go on guess what type of chocolate I used when making her brownies.
