Great, just as Twitter starts getting rid of the spam and 'get-white-teeth' bots, they go and add this little nugget to the foray.

And where's the damn Cat version already!? (they might tweet some more interesting stuff) :D

Exactly how much information can a bunch of motion and sound sensors pick up, and how accurate would it even be? I can just imagine the guy you came up with the idea for this.

"Hmm, I really love using Twitter, but it seems to be missing something... Ah yes, it most definitely needs more dogs!" (why no-one organised a nice padded cell/hitman for him at this point is beyond me).

Man, this might win the "Most pointless invention of the century" already, and we still have 90 years to go.

That said, what's depressing is that the dogs will probably be amongst the top 5% smartest things on twitter.
