I didn't have the time to read all of the responses to this thread, so if it has already been said, I apologize in advance. If it does come down to nuclear war between the US and NK, the planet is up a creek anyhow. It would open the door to many other petty grievances (I realize that they aren't petty to those involved, but you get my point) that have been stagnating for years to come to a boil and then we'd find ourselves in the midst of WW3 as everyone takes sides. Sheer craziness. I just wish everyone could learn to play nice, but I know that is utterly impossible. Too many differing viewpoints....but one can hope.
I do belive in my personal opinion that the Chuck Norris jokes need to end he is 70 after all, he should be playing shuffle board, or baking brownies with his grand kids.imnotparanoid said:

Same, except substitute UK with Canada. I think we have it worse actually as we would be a lot closer to nuclear fallout coming from our southern friends. Wow, 15 pages, please forgive me for not reading to check if this has been pointed out, but - North Korea CAN'T nuke America. It doesn't have the capability to develop warheads. At most all it can do at the moment is induce a nuclear explosion, and perhaps strap one to a rocket. To get that rocket across the Pacific is beyond their means right now. They could however, nuke South Korea.
As with all insane regimes, you've got to hope their desire for self-preservation outweighs their desire to massacre their enemies.
Frankly, I think this whole thing is more pointless sabre-rattling. The North is too weak to launch a profitable invasion of the South, and the US is too bogged down in the Middle East to take any military action.
