i think this pretty much sums up fox's opinion

I`d hardly call sub-prime loans "hard earned money"

The problem with Obama is he ran on the platform of change. He`s supposed to be the one in charge changing the way government works and not appeasing lobbyist. Instead he`s continuing the american tradition of granting billions of dollars to failing companies with horrible business models so the CEO`s (responsible for the failure and still employed unlike their thousands of blue collared workers) can continue their lavish life styles. I thought we elected him to kick ass and take names, not hop in bed with them.
Completely agree. He is just continuing the American Tradition of Politics being the Corporate Bootlick.

Democracy sucks.
I advice you start a revolution or bend over like everyone else.

On the subject, I think he's a total whore.
Like any politician should be. See above statement.

Because the last president had only pissing people off on his agenda, and look where that got him.
This mentality baffles me. So many people view Obama as a good president by default because Bush was a bad president? I'm not saying this to you in particular SilentHunter7, but you people should actually look at what Obama is doing and decide whether or not you agree with it. Don't just agree with him because he isn't Bush.

It's a democracy, people don't care about what is best for the country, they want what sounds the best for them, that's the problem with a pluralistic democracy.

The thing is, if everyone of those special interest groups actually cared about saving lives and lowering medical malpractise instead of worrying about the malpractise that is allowed to continue currently they might actually get something good done.

Wow. I didn't think a joke could read into that much :D

That said, he's only been president for 4 months. That's not a whole lot to go on. I can't fault him on how he's handling the Muslim world. The reception to his speech in Cairo astounds me. I think he could be a little tougher on Israel. I'm glad he's acknowledging that Israel needs to stop with the bullshit, but at the same time, he just did nothing when they said "LOL No" when he asked them to stop treating Palestine like shit. And I have a nagging feeling that the national health care bill is going to turn into Duke Nukem Forever, and never get out of Congress.

Politicians don't care about anything but their jobs, really. Unless a politician is a lame duck. Then, they don't care at all.

I don't really understand anyone who thinks that a politician is going to change anything. Society, you should know better.
