Oh, Sony, this is just too funny.

What confuses me is that it says the move doesn't have audio feedback.

So, what? If I punch someone in the face in their boxing game it won't make a punching sound?

That doesn't really sound satisfying.

I don't get why Move being similar to the Wii means it's bad.

Kinect may be more original but that doesn't mean it's good. Having no controller may be a selling point for MS, but it doesn't mean it'll be good. You'll just be facing a load of awkward workarounds like pretending you're holding stuff and tapdancing to walk forward.

I think it's just a battle between the Move and the Wii right now. If Sony can get a decent game library then it'll most likely turn out a lot better.

Doesnt mean much to me, both of them are very much trying to advertise that their product is superior to their competitors...its what big businesses call COMPETITION. But I will stand by the move (refer to Kevin Butler "Sony Future" ad) and I'm all around not impressed by Natal/Kinect at all. And yes, I dont give a shit if its like the wii remote...because now I can play my railshooters properly =P

becuas in most peoples eyes, anything similar is bad. If you make lets say a game similar to COD, like MoH is (atleast from the beta standpoint) it will be called bad before even playing it. Most people here have only held a wiimote and not even the Move but it is slammed at being bad when they have never even touched it.

And while people say, whats the point of Move? I can just buy a Wii. Sure you could just buy a Wii but do you want to have a whole new console that might not even have the games you want to play on it?

Its all a gimmick.
Wii was ok because it was cheap and had the firts party Nintendo stuff.
Kinect has the potential for Black and White 3, which would be the only thing I'd ever get Kinect for.
Move... Move would have to come with the PS3 for me to care.

Well, I guess Kinect is probably the nicest out of all of them, but they all suck. I would write more, but Yahtzee has already said it.

It dun make sense.
Heres the general Paradox of games/technology:

1.(Insert here) Released/announced
2.(Insert here) gains support
3.(Insert here) gets insulted by people going against the system.
4.(Insert here) becomes unpopular due to the bandwagon.
5.(Insert here) Now praised by people going against the system.
(Repeat steps 2 - 5)

Natal or Kinect or whatever its called is currently stuck here. It is unclear when it will come out of the loop if ever.

OT: Yeah Sony kind of backfired here, Well done Bad marketing.

Ah, good old corparate willy-waving. That comparison did make me grin a little, though, since you can't fault kinect for "not having buttons" when a major selling point of kinect is the abscence of a controler.
Not that I really care which is "better", motion control has never been and never will be my cup of tea.

I've made a lot of fun of fanboy-this and fanboy-that but it's easy to sit on the sidelines and criticise, this is my opinion on the matter:

Kinect
Seriously Microsoft, where are the fucking games? Don't be releasing new hardware peripheral when the only 360-exclusive game I liked from 2009 was Halo ODST (and didn't like it that much) and again this year the only 360-exclusive worth getting seems to be Halo-Reach (again,, not that amazed). And Kinect doesn't look to be changing anything, Dance Central is not that amazing.

Move
Come on Sony, just integrate more Mouse Support. We all know the PS3 has native support for any USB Mouse, it's just no games support it. It's a simple patch to bring it to your back catalogue, if you integrate Move aiming to your back catalogue (of first party) games I'd be interested if you did it for Mouse aim at the same time.
I'm not interested in the 1:1 spatial tracking of Move, only the aiming aspect which (from an inherent desing perspective) it is not as good at as Wii. Mildly interest in rail-shooters on PS3 but Move just doesn't seem to be that good at point-aiming.

MotionPlus
Nintendo wins by default as Zelda: skyward sword is the only real example so far of great use of motion-controls in (likely) a great game. But that is just one game, everything else is using no more than Wii-mote's great pointing ability (Other M) which could just as well if no better be achieved by mouse-aim.

So not surprisingly, Nintendo are delivering "best" as they have been doing this motion-control malarkey for longer. Sony and Microsoft seem to be blind to Wii's best titles (Mario Galaxy, Metroid) and seem to be to be targeting the ULTRA casual and throwing out the baby with the bathwater in terms of game design/art being paramount.

Who cares?
The point is, if you already own a Wii are you even going to buy Playstation Move or Connect? (I refuse to give in to your poor literacy Microsoft!)

May I direct your attention to this image?

Also, I don't much like the idea of either Microsoft or Sony trying motion controls. Why would they when Nintendo already has a 4 year head start?
