Looking for a Sega Genesis game.

Start off as an elephant I think. You meet other animals with abilities to cross water and such. 2D sidescroller. Plain 2D like mario/sonic games.

I have been trying to find this game for years, but I don't even know what console we were using...You were a kind of Knight guy with a sword (I think) and one of the levels was underground and you could collect little gems as you jumped from "rock" to "rock". It was in the late 80's and the game kind of scrolled left to right, and when you were in the cave it scrolled up I think. It must have been on an NES or maybe Sega. I know this isn't a lot of detail, but any help would be great. Thanks
If it isn't Demon Sword, possibly Wizards and Warriors?

That's what the bit with the gems reminds me of. If not, check out this soundtrack anyway. Glorious.

..stuff...

I had that demo. I did a quick search on youtube. At 1:45 I saw a picture that is shown for about a second. The picture seemed like it might be what you're looking for.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5zCPsCBBOQ

It read "Project Wormhole."

I did a youtube search on this "project wormhole." doesn't sound exact to your description, but it was the best I could do. Hope it helps. Good luck!

Speaking of which, It was 2-4 years ago... I was in the base BX in Japan (pretty much a military Wal-Mart). I saw a game on the screen that looked very similar. I played Wipeout HD a couple years later, by chance. A song was familiar, so I assumed it was the game I had seen. The music was what peeked my interest, but after watching Project Wormhole, I am convinced Wiipeout HD was not the game. The game more resembled project Wormhole. Any other games like that? It was part of a video demo of a 3D TV. I just want the game's music. It was awesome.
So, after a bit of a dumb epiphany I thought about searching for "playstation 1 demo disc metal gear solid steel reign medievil" on google and it came up with a forum where people were talking about the demo disc that came with their PS1. Of course, someone else had this same demo disc and I immediately figured out the name of the game I was looking for. It's called Raystorm.

Here's a video of the original arcade version, assuming Japanese: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qWF4VvSl8S0

It also had a demo of the original Armored Core, I can't believe I forgot about that game. I used to play that all the time. As well as Ace Combat 2.

There was this game I used to play about 10-15 years ago. It was called something like KS1 or keystage kids. It was so old that it was in one of those CD cases and not the ones we get now that look like a dvd. It was a brown disk with KS1 or KS2 on it, I think it might of been yellow or white writing, and could of had.a rabbit on the front. It wasn't reader rabbit btw. I remember having a picture of a fair ground with numbers and you had to click on a colour and cli the right place. Also I remember having a sort of spelling owl or sometng and I remember a type writer in there.. I can't remember much more :(

Hi all, I have a game I can remember but it's driving me crazy.

All I have is this: I played it as a PC demo on a demo disc in the late 90s/early 2000s. The game begins with some pigeons flying with whimsical music playing, then the pigeons get shot by either police or bank robbers. The mission begins with you in a helicopter using a mounted machine gun, shooting people who are on and around a bank.

Once you've completed that section, you get into the bank, and if you've shot it enough, a billboard will fall down. The main character would say "Nah, I didn't like that billboard anyway".

It's an FPS, and there's a variety of guns to use. At the end of the mission you end up in the bank's vaults but the bad guy has escaped through a hole in the wall. And that's where the demo ends.

It's not much to go on, but if anyone can work it out I'd really appreciate it!

Cici that's Broken Sword. I think the second one, Broken Sword II The Smoking Mirror is the one where you get tied to a chair and visit the coffee shop.

This look familiar?

There's a game where you are a plane at the bottom of a 2D grid. Enemy planes are coming down from the top, and you have to maneuver around the grid and shoot them down. The speed of the planes increases as the game goes on. I'm not sure if anyone answered this already. Thanks in advance.

EDIT : NEVERMIND! I found it finally! Squee! And it only took me 4 hours of looking! <3

Found this thread while searching for the game I am about to ask after, so I joined just to get help. I will love anyone that can help me with this.

Early pc cd-rom game. Came out no later than late 2006. I want to say it came out between 2000-2006, but not sure. I give 2006 as the latest it did come out cause I got to play it in college.

Single player, no online options. It's you against the computer. You get to pick if you want to be a human or a monster. If you pick monster, there's like 4-6 different types you can pick : plant/flower type, minotaur type, alien-looking type. I forget the rest. Your goal is to conquer all of the world as quickly as possible without too many losses. You can build "forts" (not called forts in the game) where you breed monsters. It costs gold and magic/food depending on what type of monster you start with and the guide in the game makes you build a "fort" next to a human village/city to support it. Once you get enough monsters bred, you go and attack the city/village, destroying their walls. They attack back but as long as you have enough monsters you defeat them and now the city/village has to give support to your "fort" as long as it's connected to it. Areas you control are represent by your monster color (they have a colored bar under the monster) and the "fort" has your designated color. The people in the game are old history types - romans for example. If you go against a huge developed city, they might have a temple where they call their God to attack you (and you see a manifestation of their God following your troops of monsters and attacking). Unless you get rid of their city walls. Then there's other monsters in the game that if you destroy their "fort" or pay them gold, then they join up with you. Each monster has different technologies (the alien-looking ones could build trees that looked like they had giant eggs attached that would shoot out lightning/electricity to attack enemies that came too close).

If you went human, you basically did the same stuff, but if you made a big enough city, then a hero would come and ask to join you (like Charlemagne or Julius Caesar).

Only way I got this game was that I had bought a laptop from toshiba and it was offered as an extra. Not very expensive, it cost me I think 5 bucks then. Please help. I have so many fun memories of playing this game and I'm dying to play it again! ;_;

Alright, had to set up my computer and hook it up to the net just for this post, so I hope it will give me answers! ;D I'm looking for a really fun game i used to play some years ago. Here goes:

-Similarities to RED ALERT in playing style.
-You gathered rescources on the ground, in "heaven" and under ground level.
-I think you use tanks and stuff, but the main attraction is building robots. When you kill a robot, you could send a pickup-car to grab a part that has fallen off and "learn" to make it after you put the part in a factory. You could build robots with different torso, legs, arms and head/shoulder parts.

This is somewhat what I remember of this game. The title is long gone and the game was almost wiped from my memory. Hope anyone of you know what I'm talking about and can give me answers.

Hi, i'm looking for an old pc videgame i used to play with long time ago.

It was a 3D fps where the only goal was to kill zombies with different guns such as machine gun, pistol or shotgun running back and forth in a delimited level. It was structured in levels of increasing difficulty and stage by stage zombies became more tough as they wear different armors such as iron armors, golden armors, copper armors etc.

In order to kill them you had to shoot and destroy their armors first. Rather than zombies they were sort of brownish, greenish monsters armed with swords, spears, hammers.

When you killed a zombie he eventually left lives, temporary power-ups and stuff like that.
The version I played was a demo and the only available level was kind of circular plain with tombstones scattered here and there and a monolithic structure in the center. You had to run around killing a huge amount of monsters with only your assault rifle and the level finished when you killed a certain number of enemies.
Please help! And sorry for bad english :p

So there's this psp game I played and I remeber that it had some word "mine" in it. When you played the game you would have to destroy blocks and make a path.you would mine the blocks green slimed would come out or another creature would come out depending on what the block is(like 3 different types of blocks that you will see when u start the mission or whatever u want to call it. You would have to survive attacks every wave (I guess that's what you can call it)it's not a tower defence game. There was water in the game. One thing is that if you break all the blocks around one block that looks like purple or something and you break it you get like a dragon. The creatures can evole and get stronger the more they eat smaller creatures. You can get turtles that are in water and are really strong. The last thing that I remeber was that there was like a thesaurus that kept all the monsters in it and there "evolved" version

That's All I know about it. I now that I didn't right it in the best way but had to right this quick and I'm using my iPhone . If you can figure it out then thank you, and don't forget it's for psp not ps3
This sounds like a poorly described, What Did I Do to Deserve This My Lord? or the sequel or the other sequel No Heroes Allowed! :D

I've been looking for a game for years, if anyone could help me out I'd greatly appreciate it (I made an account just to ask).

Things I remember about the game (memory is kind of fuzzy, I'm now 19 and I played this around the time I was 6-8)

-Arcade System (like knobby d-pad [joystick?] and flat round slightly indented buttons. I played it at the local arcade in the mall when I was a kid.
-Fantasy setting.
-It had a storyline, but I don't remember much except for some guy in a blue or black robe standing in front of a blue crystal.
-There were selectable characters, and I believe one of them was a valkyrie or something akin to that. One had a spear and I think another shot lightning.
-Eyeball monsters.
-Horizontal Side Scrolling shooter.
-Up to two players.

I can't really remember anything else, but if anything else pops up I'll be sure to let everyone know.
Never got an answer so I suppose I'll repost this ?

Almost a year has passed, so i'll try again, this is what i wrote:

"Hi there my potential heroes, i've been trying to find the title of this game for a couple of days now but no luck, this is the first time google lets me down, so here i am. This was the second PC game i've ever played, i was 11 years old back then (2000), so i'll do my best.

To begin with, it was a point&click sci-fi adventure game for windows '98(maybe made for '95) set on a space station or some science facility(at least for the beginning, i never got far into it). The graphics were 3D, dark and realistic. The most distinctive thing about the game was that when it was showing a cutscence of any kind it wasn't showing it in the full screen, but it cut it animation by animation in smaller frames in a picture-in-picture fashion. I think the main character was a bald guy and the enemies were humans in red shiny armor that looked like the sith troopers from SW KotOR(not sure about that). In "combat", you were hiding behind some obstacles and used your laser pistol(very annoyingly repetitve SFX) to kill the enemies who randomly popped up from their cover. The BGM was space-y and ominous but not scary. I don't remember any story details, but i remember that there weren't any conversations or any kind of NPC becides the enemies.

Since i didn't manage to find it by now, i guess it means it was a bad game that didn't deserve any fame. Too bad i never got past the first few stages(there was more into it than just that... right?), but after i got Metal Gear Solid and Crimson Skies, i never touched it again. I hope one of the game's developers is lurking around here, 'cause i doubt anyone else can find this. But please feel free to prove me wrong. Thanks for reading!"

Alright this ones been eluding me for ages, from what I can remember, it was a computer game from the 90s, early 00s, pretty sure you played as a spy against another spy, and the game took place on kind of like how a board game would be set up, if I remember correctly. There were different games you'd have to play within it to get weapons / defense items, and you'd use those on the other person to damage them, but if they had the defensive item to block it you did no damage. So say you'd use a gas attack, it'd show a cutscene of you using the attack, then if the other guy had a gas mask it would get used to block it.
