Where to begin (clears throat) Anime fanboys who act like japan is the only ones who can do good animation for adults.
Ah I hate that, especially those ones who worship Japan and think they should have won WW2 (they already lost, the Nuke just streamlined the process, made sure Japan still existed by the time the yanks were done). I'm friends with a kid like that, he's a bigger anime fan than I am yet he doesn't see what I have against Japan. It's a solid list.
Don't get me wrong I love anime I thinks its great, I just can't stand the ones who are like that. They give the rest of us a badname.
Exactly. This kid actually tried to lecture me on why Japan should have won. Little did he know I'm a huge history buff. You can imagine how that turned out for him. Admittedly knowing what I do makes anime a little more interesting anthropologically (my mom is an anthropologist, it's rubbed off. A little bit).

Umm, shouldn't this be in religion and politics section?

OT: Saying religion ruins people. It can, its just like anything though, its how you use it that counts.
No because not All of this is necessarily linked to religion/politics, we can moan about the clothes people wear here.
Oh, ok. My bad.

This one will tick a few people off, but Evolution. Yes, it's a theory, if it can even be called that. It is still yammered upon despite the fact that it's founding father didn't even believe it was fact, and presented without alternatives. Anyone who believes evolution is a myth is immediately called an idiot, despite the fact that evolution has no proof. None. Natural selection has proof, but evolution does not. Likewise, there is a TON of proof against it. I don't mind the theory in and of itself, after all, questions make science work. But assuming fact where no proof is given pretty much spits on the grave of every scientific leader in history, and could Darwin see the scientific climate today, he would probably weep. Just my two cents.
You do know that "Natural Selection" and "Evolution" are two words for the same thing, right? The common misconception floating around is that the Theory of Evolution claims anything more than "Species adapt over time, the ones with the best adaptations are more likely to survive", and that irritates me.

Tl:DR : BAAAW NO PROOF.

dude, you know they took in wild foxes, and a couple of generations down, they started to look like dogs?

you understand all evidence pointing to TINY changes in our bone structures over a period of years?

I could go on, but I would rather finish with this : this thread was for what pisses you off, not crying because someone pissed you off, you could have easily wrote "people who call you an idiot because you don't believe in evolution", but instead, you had to waste your time writing a poorly educated rant about how there is no proof.

Misogyny, the belief that women are inferior and should be treated as such is how you make me want to kill you.

Also, overgeneralized bashing of anime or JRPG's (it's OK if you don't like them, just be candid and don't make a bunch of stupid she-male jokes), the belief that the current generation is dumber and in decline,

Religious fanatics who try to force their religion on me or others. You have the right to believe what you want, and it's all theories at this point, but to force that on someone else...
People who think that nobody but the military should be able to even glance in the general direction of firearms.
Wannabe ANYTHINGs
People who say "Purely because I have met one american/insert country here that is an asshole every single man, woman, and child there is a budding serial murder rapist." (or something to that extent)
People that mentally pidgeonhole me as a budding serial murder rapist because I play games with a higher rating than E10+

"emos are not depressed, dont wear black, don't have black hair, and aren't all skinny"

seriously, if that was true, then everyone would be an "emo" by default, also the whole "im not emo im SCENE" argument, I mean, WTF, scene just means to keep up with the latest scene, which is "EMO"

Another thing "NOT ALL EMOS ARE DEPRESSED I AM ONE AND I AM VERY HAPPY"
Whenever I hear this I usually catch myself Shouting "Fuck off and watch naruto then, you stupid fuck"
instead of explaining to them how stupid what they just said was... -.-
Uh... aren't you being a hypocrite? You said not to reply to people who disagree with your opinion, but isn't that exactly what you're doing?
No one said anything about emo's not being depressed...

I think you mean't my other post, which wasn't directed at his opinion, it was directed at the post itself.

No, good sir, they are not. Natural selection is the backbone of evolution, while evolution is natural selection on a broad scale. Darwin presented this quite nicely: A change in beak size in shape would be natural selection, while a change in bone structure, beak size, feather color, talon shape, beak function, and diet would be evolution. Darwin himself said this. Now, that may have been changed in later thesis's by other scientists, but I go by Darwin's word, since he kind of started this whole theory.

Tl:DR : BAAAW NO PROOF.

Again, you have given proof of natural selection, not evolution. Now, if you could say we grew wings, or an extra pair of eyes, THAT would be evolution. Tiny changes in bone structure, however, is natural selection. Please study your theories more closely, rather than parroting whatever your biology teacher told you in high school.

Well I feel stupid, you're completely right. I was going to address some of your other points, but now I feel like I'd just make a fool of myself, so I'll just sneak on out of this thread...

Aaaah, I understand now, so evolution would be a complete change in our species I.E. : we all became purple and developed wings

and natural selection would be : we all developed bigger jaws to take in more food?

anyway, thanks for not being a douche in your response, like I was .

ooh, and, people who hate twilight without actually watching the film, I watched it, and hated it, because I watched it and didn't like it, not because my friends told me it was cool.

people who assume that just because I like anime and video games I'm a anti-social loser with violent tendencies, and girls who dont like people for that reason.
