Just get all of your friends together, and join a game...TOGETHER. You can talk to friends now!
Whats wrong with people???
Furthermore, you can still mute the people you don't wish to listen to. It's really not going to be all that different. The only real impact is that you can't talk to people not playing MW2 while you're playing it - good, that should help your concentration.
That's a very big difference. Plus, muting requires you to find the guy in the screen and muting him. Not very long, only a few seconds, but an unnecessary hassle, just because I can't talk to my friends who haven't bought the game, haven't bought the game yet, or are playing something else or are just not in my exact game, on my team.
WAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH
you are one of the reasons I like party chat.
you don't deserve a name quoted from robot chicken
anyway, back on topic, this bugs me. it's a video game. talking to my friends makes the game even more fun for me. so...they're taking away something fun. look, I play CoD4 for fun, not so I can "pwn evry1" and try to have the best kill/death ratio. I really don't care about that stuff...I just wanna have a good time with my friends
Then get all of your friends together join the fucking lobby and Bam! friends. I on the other and actually talk to my teammates, my
Teammates, and it bugs me to see someone in a private chat because when you are being a douche talking to some one playing some other game, I cant tell you that you are about to get killed by that mine, or whatever.
Oh, and when my
Team dominates you I will make sure to tell you in all chat how much I enjoyed it.
You really are doing nothing but demonstrating that he's right. Not just by being a general, "douche" as you phrase it, by just saying "Waaah" but you also don't. Fucking. Listen.
"Get all your friends together join the fucking lobby..."
ARRRRRGH! Read the thread. Because guess what? Not all of my friends are going to buy MW2 immediately and then join my game at the same time I'm on, and play on my team every fucking time I happen to want to play MW2.
Let's see...
Not everyone is buying MW2.
Not everyone is buying MW2 immediately.
Not everyone wants to play the same game mode.
Not everyone wants to play at the same time.
You can't always get enough spaces in a lobby for all your friends.
Not everyone can get into the same game.
I'm starting to think that people like you have no friends. I'm not going to demand that for a simple conversation everyone must join my game immediately, just because you don't have any friends who don't play on your team, in your game, at your playtime and whenever you want.
And what about when I'm not playing the 360? Plenty of times in my party, people go and play their PC, or watch the TV but still chat.
I can't believe anyone thinks this is good idea, not just people who say "Stop whining" but don't actually disagree, but people who fail to see that it doesn't bloody well affect you then of course you don't care!
You want to talk to your team? Good luck with that. You can do whatever you want and try and make sense of online dipshits.
It obviously doesn't affect the way you play the game whether I'm in a party or not. But here's the clincher - It does affect me. A lot. So stop saying "stop whining" and learn that when something affects others but not you, it still matters.
We are the majority of people who chat casually while playing and enjoy it. This changes that. You are the minority of people who have no mic/do talk with teammates. That's fine for you. But this decision ballses up our playstyle and our gaming experience is shot to fuck by it. It is our fight to complain about, as it makes no difference to you.
As for in-game comms... PFA! I've never played a CoD game where anyone discusses any possible form of tactics apart from their tactics to screw my mother. Hence why I avoid XBL inbreds like the cancerous plague they are, and choose to play the game my way.
