My boss and his son, who was given a job by his daddy because he could never have found work on his own.
This kid is a lazy, whiny, mouthy, arrogant, ignorant, self-aggrandizing, oblivious, insipid little cumstain with delusions of godhood. I've never worked around anyone so completely and utterly useless.
He sits around for hours at a time, shows up late or leaves early any time he feels like it, ignores customers, does nearly everything incorrectly, bitches in a non-stop stream, and mouths off to supervisors (that would be me) when they ask him to do better. Any project he bothers to do is labelled with the nickname he gave himself: "Moneyball Joe's Perfect _____." Not even kidding, he actually writes that.
I bring these various issues up to the boss -- his dad, remember -- and get told I am being antagonistic and unreasonable. This kid is draining countless payroll dollars out of the company, turning customers away, and, in a spectacular three-for-one special, he is annihilating workplace morale while he does it.
But I'm the one with the problem.
I don't think smacking this kid would cover it. For him to get the message, next time he mouthed off I'd have to grab him by the throat, slam him against the wall, and tell him to shut his vagina and do what he's been told.
I'm not even worried about being fired for it. My boss is the biggest pussy I've ever known. Thing is, there's another boss above my boss. I can't be seen to do anything the guy two steps up would think inappropriate. The thing I need to do to them to set things right is a thing I can't do.
And yes, this situation has been going on for a long time. I'm just a teensy bit upset about it, can you tell?
