What I want to know is who the bloody fuck is that sliver spikey guy suppost to be O___o
personally i really think they would of been better off making a batman musical rather than spiderman
as at least he has a baddie who sings anyway (or has one according to the current cartoon incarnation called batman: the brave and the bold no seriously there's a episode where he and black canary fight this guy who makes everyone break out into song)

You know... I... I just don't understand any of this.

Why didn't they just do a broadway rendition of South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut? That would have done a helluva lot better.

And with that comment, I have lost any respect I would have had for you.

Seriously though, there still doing this? I thought the reboot was bad enough!

........well, they did it, they finally did it. I have now lost my last shred of hope for humanity.

hahaha this will be awesome. Not "The Evil Dead: the Musical" awesome , but at least "oh my got thats so bad" awesome
Evil Dead in Toronto was amazing, the first three rows always got splashed with blood and I can still remember the song "What the fuck was that?"

I never really saw Spiderman as a musical, but it will probably be better then the worse musical I ever saw, I can't remember the name but it involved puppets.
If you're speaking of Avenue Q, I will cut you for your insolence.

I can't remember the name (we had eaten a few weed brownies and decided to go see a random theatre show) but it had a bunch of people literally walking around, holding dolls, and talking while moving the dolls' heads. I can't really remember but it was set in the 19th century and was amazingly dull. We left and saw a theatre version of the Rocky Horror Picture Show instead, which was pure awesome.

There are no words in the English language to adequately articulate how badly I want to see this. I hope Foxwoods has popcorn.

If I kill myself, and in the suicide note, blame it on the Spiderman Musical, and they cancel it, I feel that my death would have made the world a better place.
This from someone with a Final Fantasy X avatar. I'm sorry but the irony cracked me up.

OT: Musicals need to be banned now. They're just garbage one and all in this age.

In the first picture that's Venom? I hope so, cause they've got it all wrong if it's not. And they've completely destroyed the epicness of Norman Osbourne now, I shall watch it, and I will most likely be dissapointed.

I knew this was going to be bad from the moment I heard Bono and The Edge would be writing the score.
You what?!

Wow. Looks like this thing died right out of the starting gate.
U2 has a few good songs, but they are very overrated. Also, every soundtrack that U2 has ever produced has been mediocre.

Just go ahead and listen to a few U2 songs in a row, the guitar sounds the same basically every track. Obnoxious uniformity will not make a very good Broadway score.

TBH most plays barely brake even, including big ones, so the chances of this making back 60m is virtually impossible

...lead me to believe that the show will be a bloated, overproduced mess.
So basically, its the Spiderman trilogy all over again.
ZING! Well put.

If you're going to make a play about a super hero why not go for one that's already kinda, you know, "fabulous!" like Aquaman. He could sing "Under the Sea" from Little Mermaid.
