im still holding out hope that they announce the games are comming out for the 3ds at e3. it would make perfect sense since weve already read stories on this site about how the 3ds is in the hands of the pokemon company. that story was posted before we even knew the system was going to be 3d. plus there has never been two generations introduced on one hand-held before. im still hoping that they stick to that formula.

it would also be possible for them to release the first to versions of the ds and then the third on the 3ds. that wouldnt be nearly as cool though and still wouldnt fit the formula.

Meh, new Pokemon. Everybody knows anything after Gold and Silver was pure blasphemy and just milking the franchise. I mean, they're obviously running out of ideas; those two new pokemon look hardly original, and anything that IS original will just be completely weird. Why can't they just make a fully 3D 1st person pokemon MMO already?

Yeah, I mentioned this somewhere else before. Imagine not only Wii-mote camera controls, but the mic in the 'mote also giving you a spoken Pokedex entry of whatever you snapped or maybe even the calls of whatever pokemans you happen to be viewing.

I'd buy that in a heartbeat.

Me too, me too. You know there's going to be 8 gyms, elite four, some bad organization trying to control the world by making sure you can catch legendary Pokemon to defeat them with, but man, I enjoy every game.

No matter how many pokemon games they make I will buy them, even the remakes. I don't know if it's recollecting every pokemon that I collected in the last game again so I feel even the slightest bit of accomplishment, or because I'm a sucker to reconnect with my faintly recognizable childhood past. Did Mass Effect 2 hurt Dragon Age: Origins' sales? Did L4D2 hurt L4D's sales, despite the boycotters? Did Explorers of Time, Darkness and Sky hurt Platinum's sales?

And if you play Pokemon already, it's sort of the thing to get the next one anyway. Once you're a fan, you're a fan 4 LIEF.

Mass effect is not similar to Dragon Age at all, the same goes for Explorers of Time, Darkness,Sky, and Platinum. and finaly L4D2 was not announced a week after L4D.

They're not similar; they're all made by the same developer. That's what I meant.

And I don't know what You're talking about in terms of 'a week', because Heart Gold and Soul Silver were announced well over a year ago.

And yeah, I'm going to buy White myself. I must.

They had it right with Emerald with content. Now just do that, but make it so you can go back to the other 2 regions. And not that damn region from Diamond and Pearl. Keep it nice 2d graphics as well and TRY to innovate the storyline a bit....

And how about an overhaul of the HM system, huh? My Pidgeotto is a flying type, it should already know how to fly. My Scyther has swords for arms, it should already know Cut. I understand the reasoning behind locking the ability to use these moves outside of battle until you get a certain badge, but there's no excuse to waste a valuable move slot (which you can't back until much, much later, mind you) on something as useless as Rock Smash.

Dude, just teach rock smash to a rattata. No one likes him anyway.

I'm keeping an eye on the Pokemon series just to see how much longer they can keep using titles like this, the amount of games they've made so far with names based on colours, jewels or elements is just incredible!
