Pokemon RP Slots closed Chapter 11: I'm on a boat!

"Ok, give me 5 minutes" Joel said, opening his phone and dialing his home number.

Joel proceeds to tell his Mom everything that has happened so far, leaving out little bits. His Mom says she is leaving immediately to warn the trainers in the Gym and tell Erika.

As Joel hangs up after a tearful "I love you" to his Mom, he turns to the group "Ok, we have likely bought a lot of time for Celadon City. Erika's girls are more than just pretty faces, plus there should be some other trainers to help defend the city, all we need to do is get there now," Joel says with a note of sadness.

"Cubone, Cubone." You'll see your mom again, I promise says Q, also with a note of sadness.

"Tortle, Wartortle." Yah, you have us with you says Ace, fists raised

"So onward we go..." Magnus was glad to get going again. "Brandon, welcome to our little group of vigilantes. We can save the pleasantries for when we get to Celadon. Until then, start walking."

The group walked down the path, following Joel's guidance, until the top of the Celadon Mall Tower could be seen.

"Alright, we're getting close, right Joel?" Magnus asked. "Please tell me we're almost there..."

"Furrrret Furret, ret ret Furret." The air smells like Grass-Pokemon... we must be close.

"We'll be there very soon, Magnus." Joel told them. "Just be patient, I know you're worried."

"I'm not worried... it's just that every moment we spend on the road is one less moment we have to prepare..."

Jared kept walking along with the group, his contribution to the scout team being Sparky, the only member of his team who could move and not trample everything as it went. He was hovering a good distance above the team, yet not high enough to be spotted above the forest cover.

"Yeah, being out in the open like this, especially with those mental Rockets around, it's really unsettling," Jared added.

"MAGNE MAGNEMITE MAG." I WILL DO MY BEST TO ELIMINATE THE ROCKET PROBLEM.

"See anything up there Sparky?"

"MAG MAG MAGNE" THERE IS NO SIGN OF ANY HUMANS AT THIS TIME.

"How much farther is this place anyway?"

Brandon turned to Jared and replied "Not far" but it was the sort of not far were it could be a minute or it could be an hour away.

Rodney was lost in his own contemplation of what was happening and what might come to pass.

If we could just get to Celadon quickly enough then we could barricade for a---AHHH! Rodney yelled as he was pulled to the stone sidewalk of the sewer, at first he thought it was a Rocket member attacking him but then he heard a small cry of "Grimerrrr!".

To avoid being pulled into the sewage Rodney quickly pulled something out of his bag and bashed it over the head of the pokemon without a thought, after being pulled up from the edge of the side walk by his friends he noticed it was a pokeball he had used to defend him self and even then it had caught it

Rodney exclaimed confusedly "What a catch!" but he had spoken to loud and within seconds rockets equal in numbers to themselves had amassed, one of them an older man stepped out and spoke, "Yeah, your lucky day isn't it, we might just let you keep that one."

Ooc: You really think I was going to let us off so easily? remember we are along the sides of a sewer with raw concentrate crap and piss flowin in a river between us, so make those fights count! (point sof rcreative kills like "spectacle fighter" games lol)

Magnus saw the Rockets that Rodney had alerted with his shout.

"Shit..." Magnus swore. "Oh well, might as well have some fun." Magnus called out Reynard and Quillz for battle.

"Bring it on motherfuckers... Quillz, Reynard, use Flamethrower!"

The blasts of flame torched the Rockets, who barely had enough time to gather their Pokemon.

"Alright... " Said the older man. "A fight you shall have."

"You look familiar..." Rodney noticed about the man. "You were at Pewter!"

"Indeed I was, child. My name is Kristoph, and I'm here to stop you."

"Kristoph?" Magnus asked. "You mean Lucille's ex? I'd heard about you..."

"Yes, at Pewter, Lucille and I were having a spat, we are back together now... You must be the lad who defeated her. Hmmph, If I bring you in, she'll definately reward me with something special. Go, Luxray! Destroy these children!" Kristoph sent out his Luxray, whose mane shivered with electricity.

"Don't hog all the fun, dear!" Said a female voice from the air. Above their heads a helicopter was descending.

"Ah," Kristoph smiled. "Your ears must have been burning... Help me defeat these children, sweetheart."

"Gladly." Lucille jumped from the chopper and landed with a flip. "It's time I exacted my revenge for what happened at Pewter City... Go Shiftry! Make me proud!" Lucille tossed out her Shiftry, it was the Nuzleaf that Magnus had fought against, but it had evolved and was more dangerous.

"We'll see about that." Magnus quipped. "Quillz, let's show them what we're made of."

"You, boy." Kristoph beckoned to Rodney. "Fight alongside him... I'd like to make good on that offer you made in Pewter... what was it? Oh yes, your Pokemon."

Spoiler: Boss Fight: Rockets Lucille and Kristoph

This is a double battle, Magnus and Rodney are taking the two leaders. The rest of the group are to take out the other Rocket Grunts. Post how your battle goes as you like. Remember, the Grunts are only slightly weaker than us... remember that. Only two Pokemon per Grunt.

Joel began reaching for his belt, but then he remembered his secret hiding in his Backpack.

The Grunt standing in front of Joel said, "C'mon nerd, let me see my new pokemon. They need to meet my current ones. Go, Grimer and Houndor," the Rocket yelled, throwing two great balls out.
The red light coming from the two great balls formed into a small pokemon, much like what Rodney just caught and a small black dog pokemon with a skull on it's head.

"Ace, Q, you guys ready?" Joel said, looking at the Turtle pokemon and his backpack.

"Wartortle, tortle, tortle," Yah, let's show these bastards what's what

"Cubone, cu, cu," I'll try said the small pokemon, making her way out of the backpack.

"Wow, these two look really weak. Oh well, maybe I'll just make me some Turtle soup and use that ones bones for broth. Houndour, Flamethrower at the little one. Grimer, Sludge Bomb at the turtle." the rocket said.

Ooc:*boss battle music* Dun,dun,dada,dun Dun,dun,dada,dun Dun,duuuuuuuuuuun

This was it, now or never. If they couldn't win here then they had no hope.

Rodney went for his pokeballs and after a bit of feeling around he found the one he wanted.

Magnus looked confident "Chompers right?" he asked in a most assured tone, but when the pokeball opened to reveal little Blaze Magnus nearly fell over. Picking himself up from the stumble he said "Rodney! this is not the time for kidding around!".

Rodney stone-facedly glared at Magnus, communicating without words that he knew what he was doing.

Meanwhile Lucille and Kristoph actually had fallen over in laughter, Lucille remarked between hysterical fits of laughter "Oh dear, I want that Charmander, such a cute little thing!".

Blaze's tailflame began to grow he threw back his head as if preparing for some massive roar but only let out a small,squeaky "Charr!". This did not help Kristoph and Lucille's position, the only thing at this point keeping them from rolling about was the possibilty of being drenched in sewage. Kristoph said with tears forming at his eyes because of the laughing "Oh boy, little one. Go first while Lucille and I get up."

Magnus now looked on expectently at Rodney and Blaze, as if they somehow had a plan to win this quickly.

"Blaze, Scratch on Nuzleaf!" Rodney ordered. The small orange pokemon charged the taller Nuzleaf and delivered a scratch to it's face barely doing any damage.

Lucille said "Oh, too fucking hillarious. Dear should we let the other boy have a turn first too?" Kristoph replied "I think so my love, perhaps the next one will give us free tickets to the theatre for his attack!".

Ooc: Too late for me to finish, this post is going to be Beowulf at this rate so I'll pick it up tomorrow, or Magnus if you got the PM then you know what to do, night!.

Also does Lucille and Kristoph remind anyone of a competent Jesse and James? although I miss Meowth...idea!

"You're going to pay, you sick bastard. Ace, lets clean that Grimer up, Bubblebeam through the sludge bomb," Joel said, fire in his eyes, "Q, lets show him how we treat garbage. Kick up some sand with a Sand Attack to block the Flamethrower."

The Sludge Bomb collided with the stream of Bubbles in mid air, a small explosion of water and sludge resulting. Meanwhile, the Cubone created a small spout of sand, hitting the flamethrower and forming into a "shield" of glass.

"Now Q, headbutt the glass, Ace, you know what to do," Joel said, a small grin on his face, "Ready for a surprise you piece of crap."

"Who the hell do you think you are?" the Grunt said in disbelief.

"Surprise!" Joel yelled as Q's skullplate glowed with a white light and she rammed full speed through the glass "shield," straight at the Houndor. The shards of glass never hit the ground. An odd blue light surrounded the shards as they all pointed at the Rocket. Ace's eyes glowed a bright blue as the shards flew right at the Grunt, nailing him to a nearby wall by his uniform.

"Damnit, get me free you useless pokemon!" the Grunt yelled at his pokemon. This distracted the Houndor, causing him to take his eyes off of Q. Q hit the Houndor full force, throwing hime backwards, straight into the Rocket with a thud. The Rocket wasn't moving and neither was the Houndor, but the Grimer looked angry now.

"Oh crap, Ace Q!" Joel yelled as he dived between his pokemon and the rapidly expanding Grimer. The Grimer exploded in a massive fireball, burning right through Joel's vest and shirt and the pain of the burns causing him to fall unconscious. "At least you guys are safe," he whispered to Ace and Q before falling unconscious.

FYI, Joel isn't supposed to be dead, I just thought it would be interesting to have something epic happen to him. He is currently suffering from 2nd degree burns on his back and a broken arm from landing on the concrete. He is unconscious, but has stuff in his bag that could bring him back to conciousness and help with the burns.


Sorry for the Drama in Joel's Battle. Just got to be Epic!

OOC: The Nuzleaf is a shiftry... just lettin' ya know.

Lucille and Kristoph laughed at Rodney's attacks. Magnus didn't know what his plan was... but he knew that Rodney didn't joke around, he had a plan.

"Quillz, use Flamethrower on Shiftry!" Magnus commanded Quillz, her blast of flames hitting the Grass/Dark Pokemon directly, nearly K.O'ing it.

"How's that for a performance?" Magnus quipped.

"Alright Kris... Time to be serious." Lucille told her lover.

"Yes, I agree... That attack was too powerful for us to ignore."

"Shiftry, use Giga Drain on the lizard!"

"Luxray, use Thunder Fang on the firey threat."

A blast of plant-based energy hit Blaze and absorbed its health, slightly restoring the Shiftry. The Luxray pounced on Quillz, electrical energy in its teeth, doing damage.

Blaze's tail-flame grew to an immense size. It's Blaze ability had gone into effect and was filling the Charmander with fire-type energy. Even Rodney seemed to have some of his Pokemon's ferocity.

"Magnus, have Quillz use Flamethrower through Blaze." Rodney told Magnus his plan. "Now."

"But Rod, that'll..." Magnus thought about and came to a conclusion. "That's brilliant. Quillz, FLAMETHROWER!!"
Blaze built up his fire as Quillz blasted both the Shiftry and the Luxray with her Flamethrower, fainting the Shiftry, and giving the Luxray a severe burn and leaving it about to faint.
At that moment, both Blaze and Quillz glowed with white light and grew in size. Blaze grew taller and and his claws sharper, emerging as a Charmeleon. Quillz grew to more than twice her size, standing on her hind legs with her new powerful frame.

"Ty...PHLOSION!" Quillz roared ferociously. Let us show these pitiful Rockets whom they are dealing with.

"...Charmeleon!" Blaze hissed alongside her. Gladly...

Calling out Jack and Lilly Brandon said " C'mon out you guys, lets help take back our city."

Jack instantly got into a fighting stance and Lilly also in a rare fit of anger got in to one also. "Ohh... i've always wanted a couple of Kirlia and yours look pretty strong." The GRunt said as he trough out a raticate and a golbat.

Jeffery came face to face with a grunt possibly in his twenties who had a scar down the left side of his face.
"man does`nt team rocket have some kind of work experience program so I can fight people my own age" Jeffery said annoyed he then released ghastly and asked lucario to take a battle position.
"ha fucking pathetic kid let me show you what some real Pokemon look like" the grunt then threw down his two pokeballs releasing an eevee and a raichu, Jeffery snickered a little.
"hey what`s so funny" the grunt yelled. Jeffery could`nt hold it in anymore.
"your Pokemon are freaking lame" Jeffery exclaimed throwing the grunt off "lucario dark pulse" lucario then quickly fired waves of dark energy from his hands hitting both the eevee and the raichu, Jeffery got up and went to a serious demeanor.
"that was to throw you off this is to confuse you ghastly confuse ray" ghastly then fired a clear beam at the raichu knocking it down but not out it hopped back to it`s feet staggering around confused.
"uhhh raichu quick attack" the grunt ordered raichu dashed forward but due to it`s confusion it turned to the right and slammed into the sewer wall it staggered backward and by accident fell into the sewer it getting pulled down the river of sewerage jeffery simply looked on as the raichu went around the bend and disappeared from sight.
"I wonder what`s going to happen to it" Jeffery thought out loud ignoring the grunt who in the time Jeffery was looking at the raichu floating away ordered his eevee to tackle lucario who fell backward onto his backside.
"focus please" lucario yelled at Jeffery.
"oh sorry" Jeffery said turning his attention to the battle again.
"eevee tackle again" the eevee then charged straight at lucario again.
"lucario jump over eevee and grab it`s tail" lucario waited for his chance to strike and then just before eevee hit him lucario jumped and grabbed eevee by the tail. holding it above the ground as it feebly tried to struggle free.
"lucario dunk it in the sewer" lucario then laid stomach down on the concrete and held the eevee just inches above the sewer line before finally dunking it under for a second before pulling it out again.
"lucario finish it off" lucario hopped back to his feet and swung the eevee over his shoulder before snapping his wrist back to the ground slamming the eevee against the cold concrete knocking it out. Jeffery simply stared at the grunt who was now defenseless turned to run but was trapped the exit blocked by Rodney and Magnus` battle with the woman who he guessed was lucille and some other guy Jeffery had not seen before.
"ghastly lick" Jeffery asked ghastly who charged straight at the grunt hovered in front of him and licked him straight across the face paralyzing him.
"that was strangely easy" Jeffery said to himself

"Jack Thunder bolt on the Golbat, Lilly confusion on the Raticate" the thunder bolt hit the golbat nearly knocking it out, Lillys confusion missed as the raticate dug under ground.

damn brandon thought as the grunt yelled "Golbat Air Cutter" as the golbat used an air cutter hitting Lilly square in the chest.

"jack Double team quickly" Hearing the command Jack soon was surrounding the golbat and thoroughly confusing it.

"Lilly use your horns to find out where Raticate is" Lilly closed her eyes and her horns started to quiver. the next second Lilly jumped back and the Raticate came up out of the ground, surprised it mist its target "Now Lilly confusion!" The confusion did some damage but didn't knock it out.

"Now Jack finish off the Golbat with confusion" The Jacks merged into one behind the Golbat and hit it with at its full power.

"now Lilly lets finish this with a magical leaf at Raticate"
as the magical leaf hit the raticate the attack sent it flying and hitting the grunt with a loud WHUMP

"Ha good job you two" "Kirl, Kirlia, lia ,Kir" Jack said with an air of triumph in his voice " Ha ha that will show 'em who their messing with!" as Lilly danced a ballet around Brandon

The battle with the Rockets was going well, just not well enough. Lucille's Masquerain was taking a toll on the fire-Pokemon.

"Bubblebeam!" Lucille's pokemon blasted Quillz and Blaze with streams of bubbles.
The onslaught of attacks was too much for Blaze, who fainted from the strain. Rodney then sent out Chompers to take care of the remaining Pokemon.

"Chompers, use Crunch!"

"Luxray, use Thunder Fang!"

The two pokemon locked jaws with one another, in a grapple that shook the ground.

"Quillz, Swift on that annoying pest!" Quillz blasted star-shaped beams at the Masquerain, doing severe damage.

"FERALL!!!" Chompers had been bitten by the Thunder Fang of the Luxray.

"Luxray, use Thunder!" The blue electric pokemon blasted both Quillz and Chompers with a super-charged electric attack, paralyzing them both.

"Come now, dear..." Kristoph said to Lucille. "Let us finish these children."

"Yes, Kris... Let's."

The two Pokemon of the Rockets charged their heaviest hitting attacks...

KER-ACK! What sounded like a bolt of thunder slammed through the tunnels of the sewer. Electrical energy flew from nowhere and struck every single Rocket and his Pokemon.

"What the hell's happening?" Magnus yelled. A huge gust of air blasted through, knocking the Rockets into the sewage flowing downstream, away from the group.

"Let's get the fuck out of these sewers!" Rodney yelled to the group, everyone agreed and climbed up through a nearby man-hole cover.

The group came up in the outskirts between Saffron and Celadon City, less than a mile from Joel's house.

"I know where we are..." Joel said to the group. "Come on guys.. let's hurry."

"What the fuck happened down there?" Jeffrey asked out loud.

"Like it matters?" Aari answered. "Let's just get safe as quickly as possible, before anything else happens."

...Those attacks... It couldn't be. Magnus thought to himself. "Come on guys.. let's go. Now."

The group broke out into a run, dashing through the grass until Joel's house could be seen in the distance. As they approached, Joel's mother was waiting outside, looking rather worried.

"Oh my god." Joel's mother gasped. "What happened?"

"Kristoph! What the fuck just happened?" Lucille swore angrily at her boyfriend, covered in the refuse of both people and Pokemon.

"Don't ask me woman.. I don't bloody know!" Kristoph yelled in response to his lover's swearing.

"Gah! You fools are incompetent." Lucille berated the Grunts and pulled out her wet phone. "This is Lucille... I need a couple helicopters to pick us up... we'll also need a few showers... scratch that... we'll need an entire shower-room. Now get your asses over here.. AND PICK US THE FUCK UP!"

"I love it when you yell commandingly." Kristoph smiled at Lucille.

"Can it, meatsack."

option 2: And so it begins... essentially the offical start of the war beginning with a massive battle in Celadon, like war I mean war barricades and chest high walls and everything.
