Pokemon RP Slots closed Chapter 11: I'm on a boat!

"Well I can tell you my name is not sweetie!" Dani replied rather rudely, but Norbert bumped her shoulder and she shook Magnus's hand, "Sorry, I tend to get angry when people call me names like that. I'm Dani! Your friends told me I could hang out with you guys... is that ok with you Maggie?"

Dani giggled at her nickname for her new friend,

"Oh and this is Norbert!" she laughed as she pointed at the large Pokemon behind her.

 

[Mookie_Magnus]

"The name is Magnus, don't you forget it." Magnus corrected Dani, half-seriously. He shook her hand and answered her. "I don't mind if you hang out with us for a bit, you seem like a nice girl. That's quite a Blaziken you have there."

Magnus shook the hand of the Blaziken, and eyed the Pokemon for a moment.

"Norbert, is it? I thought you were a male, judging by the length of your crest. It's nice to meet you."

"Blaze Blaziken." The feeling is mutual.

"Oh, I can understand you. That's good to know. Although, my older brother does have a Blaziken... that may be why." Magnus then spoke to Dani again. "What other Pokemon do you have?"

Jared finally made his way to the Pokemon Center, having been distracted on the way by the lapping waves, the girls taking full advantage of the climate to achieve the perfect tan, and of course, his latest conquest. But Blaine's words still lingered on his mind.

What the heck was he talking about? If I didn't know better, I'd swear he was the Psychic Gym leader. Of course there's an opening...

Jared entered the Center to get some healing for Nicky, when he saw his friends, and apparently they had picked up a couple new members while he was away. "Here Nicky," he said, releasing him from his ball. "Joy will take care of that scar Magmortar left."

"Niiiiiiido ni, nido nido kiiiiiiiii," She may take away the scar on the surface, but she will not be able to heal the scar of shame for allowing a hit to myself.

"Nicky, buddy, you need to lighten up a bit." Jared made his way over to the group. "So, what's going on over here?"

"just the usual, we meet new people they hate me on contact, I do something stupid...the only thing that`s missing is the rocket attack and by my watch that`ll be here either today or tomorrow" jeffery answered Jared looking thoroughly bored.

"so we gonna do anything,I`m up for a pokemon battle or something,no really who wants to take me on" Jeff said getting up and stretching out his arms.

"Murphy is an Altaria, he is usually too shy to come out of his Pokeball and play, Todd is a Ludicolo, you might be wondering why I named her Todd which is a boys name and she is a girl, Pikachu is my Pikachu and yes I did give her a nickname her nickname is Pikachu and Abby is an Absol, she is mysterious, I am still trying to figure her out!"

Dani stood with a pondering look on her face while Magnus stood with a shocked look on his face. So many words in so little time.

"Wanna hear something funny? I have never used a Pokeball to catch a Pokemon, all of mine I have hatched from and egg or saved as a baby... isn't that neat?"

Rodney looked around and was relieved the two new people hadn't caught on about Jeffrey's Rocket remark. "How do you heal them at a Pokecenter then? Also your going to have to catch them if you want to sign up for the Pokemon League".

Alan took both Pokeballs from Nurse Joy and thanked her. Joining the others he looked about them. Okay... I'm absolutely sure I've seen these people before... Strange. But he put up with this nagging curiousity. "Not everyone is out to fight the Pokemon League."

 

[stormcaller]

"Very true, I just assumed anyone collecting badges is after the honour of being the champion." Rodney replied. "Sorry, what did you say your name was again?" Rodney asked Alan. "It's Alan" came the reply.

Chompers who had finished all the bottles was getting back up, he had his fill. "Ok boy, want to head back to the pokeball or do you want to sit out here with us?" Chompers replied "Fera gatr gatr" I'll stay here, if that's ok. As the talking continued Rodney suggested "Guys, why don't we head outside and introduce all our pokemon to one another?"

 

[Mookie_Magnus]

"That's pretty neat, Dani. Wait, your Pikachu is named Pikachu? Did you nickname it that when it was a Pichu, or did you just give it that name for laughs?" A tone rang from the front desk, along with a number on a screen. It was Magnus's number, and he went and got Quillz and Scout back from the Joy.

Magnus looked back at the Joy for a moment, and then at Rodney.

"Guys, why don't we head outside and introduce all our pokemon to one another?" Rodney asked the group.

"Yeah, that sounds like a fun idea." Magnus agreed. "Rodney, has anyone ever told you that you look kind of like a Joy? Not in a girly way, or anything, but you do sort of look it. This isn't the first time I've noticed this... but still."

Jared looked at Rodney after hearing Magnus' comment. "I dunno, I can't picture Rodney in a nurses hat."

Nicky appeared beside the the desk. "Niiiiii, ni, nidoki...ni." Well, I am healed, as well as could be....sigh.

"Here Nicky, we'll go outside, you meet the new guys and their Pokemon, you'll be all right, come on mate, you got the win, celebrate." Jared headed out with the rest of the group and released his Pokemon.

Well at least I think I finally got the personalities for my Pokemon officially decided now, only took me 4 months.

"yeah let`s bring out the pokemon" Jeff said getting up and going outside after the rest of the group

"Now let`s get this party started" Jeff said throwing Gyarados' pokeball into the air and releasing him letting him coil his tail harmlessly around Jeff.

"you always had to be a showoff did`nt you" lucario sighed as he walked out of the pokemon center.

"what`s wrong with wanting to look like your the best" Jeff replied climbing over Gyarados' tail and falling onto the ground below landing on his back causing his other two pokeballs to open releasing Abra and Charmeleon.

"yeah real skill" lucario sniggered as he watched jeffery get back to his feet.

"cram it" jeffery shot back.

Alan quickly made his way after the others. They were always moving, always onto the next thing. He smiled a bit, releasing his Pokemon.

"Took you long enough! I thought I might never get out of the Pokeball!" came Staryu's first protests. The other two Pokemon were quite content with flying on either side of their trainer.

"Staryu, stop freaking out so much. You're out again, right?" Alan crouched down to comfort his Pokemon.

"I am now! But what about before? Have you ever been in one of those things before? It hurts!" Staryu turned away from Alan, trying his best to look hurt.

"Okay. Okay. I'll let you stay out here then. You can even get to meet some of the others."

"Good. And we'll keep it that way." Staryu made a noise, something like a laugh, before going off to meet some of the other trainer's Pokemon.

"Guys?" Alan nudged Golbat and Magneton to go converse with the Pokemon, which they did.

"Oh thats a good idea, I think my Pokemon need a good stretch!" Dani said as she skipped out of the PokeCentre, "Come on out guys!"

She threw one Poekball after another and all of her Pokemon appeared. As soon as they came out of their balls they huddled around Dani and began nuzzling her. She giggled in delight at the love her Pokemon gave her and she began running toward a small pond, all of her Pokemon in tow.

Murphy was a beautiful specimen, the clouds surrounding his body were as white as snow. Todd was your normal Ludicolo, she quickly dove into the water and began floating n the surface. Pikachu stayed away from the water but frolicked in the grass and Abby sat quietly away from the others, Dani tried to coax her to come over but the Absol merely sat there, looking proud, but at the same time scared and rejected.

"See!" Dani complained pointing at Abby, "This is what she does when I take her out of her ball, she doesn't play, she doesn't eat or drink she just sits there. Sometimes she doesn't listen to me even in battle and I have to swap her out for someone else. Can you help me Maggie?!"

Jared just laughed at Jeff and Lucario's antics. "Man, can you make it one day without falling over something? I mean, even I'm not that bad!" Nicky however was less then impressed with the dynamic between the two and made that fact known to Lucario.

"Niiiiiido, nido, nido, kiiiiiii, nido nido, nido, niiiii, nidoki!"You astound me. This boy raised you up from a mere child and this is how you treat him? With disdain and sarcasm? That is not how you should be treating your partner. I mean sure, me and Jared have differences, he is very lazy at times, and I don't think he takes anything near as serious as it should be taken, but I know when it comes down to it, he is the perfect ally. If you continue to shun your teammate, then it could keep you from unlocking your true potential, and being anywhere near as good as you should be.

While that rant was going on, Jared's other Pokemon where making the rounds. Sparky flew over to the other Magneton, eager to meet another of its kind. Angus gave a quick grunt of acknowledgment to the new members before going over and eating some grass. Shelley made her way into the pond, heading down as Staryu flew in to join it. She marveled at the jewel in its center, wanting one of her own. And Xero just hung back on Jared, the 6 of them chattering, hungry as ever.

"Why don't you guys go meet the others?" Jared asked.

"Exeggcute, exegg!"Dude? You don't know by now? We want food. Food helps us meet others!

"Fine, fine." Jared tossed some Poke food out onto the ground over by the others and Xero leaped off his shoulders, attacking the pellets with the same kind of ferocity he wished they would show in battle.

"What a motley crew I've got assembled here." Jared said to himself.

You don't have a Charizard yet... it is still a Charmeleon. Read the Pokemon lists.

Magnus let out his Pokemon, and Eon, from their pokeballs to meet Dani's and Alan's Pokemon. Quillz joined Nicky in scolding Jeffrey and Lucario; Ryu, Quake, and Eon joined Staryu, Todd, and Shelley in the water; and Scout and Reynard played with Pikachu.

"See? This is what she does whenever I call her out of her pokeball." Dani complained in regard to Abby. "She doesn't play, she doesn't eat or drink, she just sits there. Sometimes she doesn't even listen in battle, so I have to swap her out for someone else. Can you help, Maggie?"

"I suppose so, Dani. Here, let me check her out." Magnus approached the Absol and began to look her over. "Alright Abby, I'm not going to hurt you. I just want to give you a quick look-over. Is that alright?"

Magnus examined the Pokemon, without touching her, and was able to glean a few things about her.

"Do you know how old she is, Dani? She seems young... Absol can live for more than one-hundred years." Magnus turned and spoke to Abby. "Can I touch you, Abby? I'm not going to hurt you, I promise."

"Well she is my youngest Pokemon, she hatched from an egg only... 6 months ago. She just reached full size maybe 2 weeks ago and she was always shy. Could it have something to do with her young age?" Dani asked as she watch Abby slowly back away from Magnus, "She lets me touch her and feed her but no one else can go near her!"

lucario simply stood there and took the berating quillz and Nicky were giving him with a visible look of rage on his face. Jeff looked on as the scene unfolded just realizing he had`nt released her as she wandered off and sat with charmeleon and Abra

"so let me get this straight, you get to go on about your trainer being lazy and unfocused but just because you hide it behind a mask of nobility and honor you get to get away with it, if you`ll excuse me I`m gonna go try and make some new friends that are`nt as big of a hypocrite as you" lucario said as he walked past quillz and Nicky and over to where the rest of Jeff's pokemon were sitting partly because he never talked to anyone of them but mostly to get away from quillz and Nicky.

"there`s always gotta be someone on my case" lucario muttered to himself as he sat with charmeleon,Abra and haunter.

 

[stormcaller]

Rodney had begun letting out all his pokemon, except one "Chompers, could I get some help with this one? Nicky could you help out too?" Nicky gave him a confused look and stood by Chompers as Rodney opened the pokeball, Slicer looked around for a second then screamed out "SCYY!!!!" Battle!!! Rodney apologised and said "Yeah, Slicer is a bit fucking crazy. Sorry."

The rest of Rodney's pokemon we're introducing themselves to all the others.

Scout walked up to Slicer and tapped him on the thorax.

"Furret Fur Furret. Furret." I'll spar with you. Come on. Slicer followed Scout and the two began exchanging blows with one another.

"Well, that's one thing taken care of..." Magnus said to himself. "Now we have to deal with Abby. She's only six months old? That's young for an Absol... Most don't reach full maturity until they're about four years old."

Magnus fished out some Pokemon food, as well as some meat that he had in the portable cooler in his backpack. He held it out in front of Abby, hoping she would eat it. When she didn't, Magnus called over Red from the field, and had Reynard pull Eon out of the water with Extrasensory. The two young Pokemon sat next to Magnus.

"Eon and Red are both juveniles as well, neither of them are full-size yet. Maybe Abby will benefit from the company of Pokemon close to her own age." Magnus fed Eon and Red, hoping Abby would get the idea that he wasn't a threat. He offered some more to her, hoping that she would accept.

But Abby stood fast, she leaned forward a bit to smell the food, but leaned back and remained sitting on the grass. Magnus sighed as he sratched his chin, trying to think how to coax this young Absol,

"Um... what if I give her the food and see if she is a little more comfortable that way?" Magnus shrugged and walked over to Dani, "Ok so I have a plan!"

Dani slowly walked toward Abby, food in hand. Once she got close enough Abby immediately tried to eat the food but Dani pulled away, she began slowly walking toward the other young Pokemon. Dani tossed the food on the grass near the Pokemon and Abby began eating, the two young-lings stared at her as she ate. Once she was done the small Eon approached Abby, he swatted at her tail and happily jumped around her, rolling on the grass as he did so. Abby quickly lashed out at the small Pokemon who ran back to Magnus is fear, Dani gasped,

"Om my gosh! I am so sorry Maggie! Why would she do such a mean thing?" Dani pointed at Abby, "Don't attack poor little Eon! She is just so difficult."
