Recently there was a thread on here about a rather sad case in America where a mother was giving her 8 year old daughter injections of botox into her face, well there's some good news from the BBC:
Eight-year-old Botox user taken into care in America [http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/13423966]
The low down is that the little girl has finally been taken away from her mother, who used to enter her into child beauty contests and so gave her botox treatment to "remove wrinkles". Personally I think it's good that this has happened as giving a young child a dangerous treatment solely for unneeded cosmetic reasons, especially when that is for entering her into what are in my opinion repulsive competitions, is irresponsible and selfish to the extreme.
So Escapists, do you think this was the right decision?
