No, you need to get serious, my friend, because EVE made griefing a career option. Ever been caught in a gatecamp, or get ganked in 0.0 space by some jerk with a faction ship when you were just trying to get to a mission? There are entire player corporations dedicated to piracy in EVE, and they behave JUST LIKE REAL PIRATES. I would argue that that's one of the things that made EVE cool; the depths of space were a dangerous place, full of jerks who would shoot you down and pod-kill you just for the fun of it. And when you hit your warp just in time to escape from the 'rats, it was a huge rush.thebrainiac1 said:EVE online FTW!
Seriously, Its like wow, but more mature and with fewer fucktards and griefers.

No, definately not with Cataclysm coming up.brainless906 said:So aion online has been called the "killer of WoW" in for many reasons. I've played both and personally i think Aion could pull it off. I really dont care if Aion is almost a mirror image of WoW, i feel it takes what WoW created and then fixes all its flaws >8] I think its about time somebody stepped up to the plate and told WoW to go **** itself. though i may just be talking through my teeth because i'm a graphics whore (i.e. i likey teh pretty screenies) and Aion is runnin with the help of crytek. So anyone else think Aion Can pull it off?
Yeah, actually, you're 100% right. Grad school seems to have put me out of touch with my gaming terminology.thebrainiac1 said:RebellionXXI said:No, you need to get serious, my friend, because EVE made griefing a career option. I would argue that that's not griefing, that's part of the fun.
In WoW, when I was around level 45, a level 70 followed me around for 4 bloody hours, killing anything I went near, before I had a chance to do the quest I was on. THAT is griefing.
Blowing up another man's ship to make money through ransom is not griefing, as the definition of griefing is doing something with the SOLE PURPOSE of ruining another person's experience.
Agreed.RebellionXXI said:Yeah, actually, you're 100% right. In that case, I guess the REAL griefers were those damn NPC agents who kept sending me out into 0.0 to do Level 3 missions. The bastards...
Why? Do you have any actual reason for WoW to fuck off or are you just bashing it in an attempt to be different?brainless906 said:So aion online has been called the "killer of WoW" in for many reasons.
