Dogs

of the dozens of cats I've met, only 2 have been mellow and want attention.

Dogs, all the way. Because they're always, always happy to see you.

My dog is pretty much Dug from Up. Apart from the fact she's a girl, anyway.

Dogs aren't nearly as cudly, cute and hilarious as cats. There are some awesome dog breeds like Huskies, but those are high-maintenance.

I love cats. Simple because they give the best illusion of having a personality of their own. Which to me makes them much more interesting than dogs.

I don't hate dogs though, I used to walk my neighbour's dogs after school and they are awesome.

i dont really have a preference when it comes to cats and dogs. both has their god sides and bad sides so i can only judge on a individual level of witch i prefer the most. I have met cats that wont leave me alone and dogs that don't want nothing to do with me unless it was something they want.

Dog person. Sure, cats are cute (well... some of them), cuddly and whatnot but I always felt they are kinda, I don't know, useless. And their habit of killing smaller animals just for the kick of it (toying with their catch before killing it and not even eating it later) makes me furious. I always feel the urge to do the same to them, to see the justice served.

I've had a fear of dogs all my life, I'd still rather have one over a cat. Cats are annoying and the cat fanatics are worse.

I love cats because everytime I come home my cat walks up to me meows and then starts rubbing up against my leg like crazy, and whenever I go sit on my couch my cat also walks up and starts sleeping on me, which helps keep me warm.

My mjolnir armor from Halo: Reach, because I think my armor looks extremely kick ass and I wouldn't mind having to wear it forever.

(i accidently typed this up when i meant to write this in another forum, could someone please delete this message if they can)

I like both, but I prefer dogs if I had to choose. At the moment though, I am not interested in owning a pet. I can barely look after myself, let alone another creature.

Emphatically a cat-person. I have three, and my mannerisms are occasionally feline. I love to sleep, watch and spontaneously disappear into the wilderness.

Dogs are either large, loud, hard to care for, or all of the above. I like cats, they're calm, quiet, they don't need much more than food and water... Cats are cool.

Neither. I really don't do Animals in general at all, I find them a waste of my time and highly annoying.

Cats rule, dogs drool. Low maintenance, they are laid back and quiet unlike dogs with their obnoxious barking (for no reason mostly), they don't stink up the whole house like a dog or slobber everywhere, they won't wake you up in the middle of the night because they need to go out and pee/poop (they have their litter box), fun to play with, very soft for petting (dogs always feel rough and oily to me), perfect for sitting in your lap, etc

Cats are the best pet imo
have you ever seen a dog in real like :S most of those qualitys would only come out if the dog is poorly kept. Really all you need to do is make sure to have your dog trained early on doesnt take long and walk them 2ice a day for half hour give them food n water n bath 2ice a year n your good to go really isnt all that much

I love cats. They are easier to potty train than dogs. They can easily use the toilet and flush it, and often teach themselves this. They fetch, balance objects in their hands, are amazing jumpers, go absolutely crazy with lasers and lights and are good companions all around.
They can be bossy at times, but not nearly as annoying or demanding as dogs with barking. I will take the cat biting my nose and batting me in the face to wake me up over a dog barking or licking me any day.
