I am British and am a conservative, although it would be more correct to say I am "Centre-right".

However compaired to the american Conservative's the british conservative party seems left wing.
The american right seems very strange to me. In my personal opinion I feel religion is pulled into american politics too much.
quoted for truth!

I'd say liberal, but that is because of the unfortunate fact that the conservatives are now being represented by idiots like Sarah Palin, Rush Limbough, and others on FOX. I don't hate conservatives, many of my friends are conservative. But I believe that the people who appointed themselves as their leadership have corrupted the conservative ideals and made them less conservative and more anti-anything obama says does or represents. My condolences to all sane conservatives.

Op reminds me of a joke by a comedian called Reginald D Hunter.

He says:
"Like I don't see any point at getting mad at Bush."
"It's like if a kid came up to me with a puppet and made the puppet say, hey Darky get the fuck back to africa, that'd be me going:
No! I hate you, you stupid puppet, you fucking asshole!"

OT:No idea.
Somewhere between communist and socialist.

I view myself as independent. If an issue rises that I need to vote on. I try to research the issue get multiple view points and try to make a decision from there. I don't vote yes or no just because my party says so.

I did take this online "test" that comprised of 75 questions that would judge what my political views were and it came out to be Libertarian. Not sure if that changes anything

I'm Canadian and we have the Liberal and Conservative parties of Canada. I tend to like the ideals the Liberals have over that of the Conservatives. The Liberal party is good for Canada as a whole, many of their ideals support social programs in Canada (public health care is one of them), have the wealthy assist the poor with some of their taxdollars and attempt to better Canada's economy, in my opinion, the Conservatives just benifit buisiness, the rich/very well off and the economy. Now if this information is wrong then sorry.

Liiberals(or whatever the hell Obama and his cronies in the white house are) have done nothing but harm to this country since he took office. I plan on doing my part to change political landscape of DC from blue to red this november.

I used to class myself as conservative. Then moderate.
Now I have more in common with liberals than not.
Strange thing is, most of my stances haven't changed.
Apart from the fact that he's smart and well-educated, I guess i have a lot in common with Justice John Paul Stevens.

So they took the country off the rosy path it's been on since 2000?

I'm a centrist. I believe in civil liberties, and I believe in government-sponsored social programs, but I also believe in balanced budgets and forward-looking policy. Internationally, I believe in protecting the national self-interest, but not in hawkish posturing.

Nothing really. I believe that Marxism is the ideal form of government, but at the same time it could only work in small societies.

And that.

I admit during the Bush administration, things weren't all "rosy" but I think felt more secure in my own home under Bush than I do now under Obama. And besides Obama has really been dropping the ball in regards to how he's handled the BP mess in the Gulf. Hell he halfway caused the damn problem by not sending inspectors out to the rig and putting bans on offshore drilling in shallower waters that led to the Rig being placed so far out there.

Progressive.

Though I refuse to be patriotic until the US expands it's quickly diminishing space program. It angers me that India has made it into space with the least amount of budget then any space program in the world.

I'd agree with libertarianism except that most of its followers are all in favor of corporations having the same rights and none of the liabilities of an individual. Personally I think the world values property rights more then human rights which defeats the point of libertarianism.

Neither. I don't like big government and I have a pretty conservative outlook on international politics. But I prefer to stay independant.

I'd say i'm liberal, AND conservative, although I stubbornly reject the twisted meaning on these words that US Politics have applied to them.

I would also say that I am a traditionalist and nationalist, aswell as a fierce anti-communist.
