100% crunchy is the way to go. If it's all chewy it feels all weird and slimy... which is awkward.

I couldn't care as far as the meaty bit goes. So either. Prefer chewy I suppose but to be honest I go no where near bacon if its got fat on, and once you've got rid of all the fat there is hardly anything left anyway.

So I go for sausage. Bacon is overrated.

Crunchy if in a sandwich, "chewy" otherwise (although I wouldn't call it chewy, just not fully crisped).

It has to be crunchy. When I make it, I make sure it almost breaks just by touching it!

Bacon must be extra-crispy. Then it must be covered in maple syrup unless it is being placed in a sandwich or crumbled up as a topping.

If in long strip just a bit chewy. If in small chunks with perogies or something its all about crunchy. So ultimately i say chewy

Exactly as it was in the Simpsons. Crunchy, but not too crunchy. Damn, now I need some bacon.

I love all bacon, unless it is charred and blackened to the point of being a chunk of unrecognizable carbon.

I agree with what he said but I do prefer it chewy.

Bacon should be crunchy, with a crackle to it, but should maintain a meat and not ashburnt consistancy.

In general, a crispness with the tooth feel of jerky is best.

A mix between the two!
For if it's Crunchy then it's way way too hard for me. On the other side if it's Chewy then it's like a raw boot-strap.

CRUWY ftw!

I don't like it soggy, but I definitely like it soft. I don't eat bacon so I can have chips, I eat it so I can have amazing-tasting meat. Plus then I can pack more of it in my mouth at once, and more bacon is never a bad thing.
