I can get away with nuking someplace and It wont be a total shock and to give me an excuse to eat puppies....maybe babies on the side. I dont want to get fat
Destruction brings happiness. I don't know why, but it's much more appealing to me to burn something than build something and I do believe I need help for this but most people would choose the former. In Fallout 3, it's more fun (in my opinion) to blow off a raider's head than deliver a letter to someone's family and if you don't agree with me you must be mental.
Because I am a clown...and clowns as you know, are pure evil. That is my reason for being evil, because I am a clown.
Whatever happened to good old "I am villain, FEAR ME" rather than having a sob story behind it? Oh well I guess those hollywood people have to get their kicks somehow o0.
I just like villains who do stuff for the hell of it, not enjoying it or anything, just do it indifferently. That's really the only one which hasn't been done to death.

Revenge is always the easiest way to slaughter people with no guilt on ones conscience. 
Just like in video games when someone pisses me off I kill them or if they screw me over I kill them....err if they look at me funny I kill them. Damn I think I have issues.

When your not tightly bound back by a code of "ethics" or "morals" it's so much easier to just get shit done.
Revenge I think is the best. Cuz usually they can start out with good intentions but then fall from grace and become what they hated most.
Orochimaru from Naruto comes to mind. He wanted to be Hokage but lost out to Minato Umikaze. So he wanted to get revenge on Sarutobi and put him in a situation where he would have to fight his old mentors. A pretty evil situation. No matter who wins, you lose.

being evil is just more fun, or at least being the antihero, obliterate for your own thrills, casualties ok, your looked at as a asset and a potential problem, better to be in the middle, the general public never knowing wether your going to save the day or join in on the destruction.
You get more freedom with evil, but the best kind of villain is the one that is evil, but within his/her own moral code.
Eh that's tough. Doing a bit of good and bad is fun. Like blowing up armies and countries...but they were actually doing evil themselves. So being neutral sounds fun.
