Pfft, I know for the UK it's pretty easy to register online for it.... that's how I did it lol.
It probably is very easy here too, but still. Besides, my organs won't be in any condition to be donated anyway, except maybe for science.

I already get blood taken from me, but they study it, instead of donate it. Once they stop doing that, then I'll start donating.

I'm keeping my organs/bone marrow.

My vampire fetish makes me donate blood as often as I can, and they're free to take anything they want from my corpse.

I can't donate because of medical reasons. After my stroke they have me on so many meds that it's not feasable for them to use my blood. But since I can't do the easy thing and give blood I do a lot of volunteer work for the different organizations that help those who really need it. (I know it's not the same, but at least I'm doing something to give back)

I give blood as often as I can, because in the near future I'll probably be on blood pressure tablets which means i won't be able to.
As for organ donation I can't give my kidneys for medical reasons, and I haven't decided if I want to donate anything else yet.
However I don't think I'd say no to having a transplant so I'll more than likely will.

I have donated blood several times so I definitely have no problem with that and after my death I'd be willing to give organs. Only if it is somebody extremely close to me would I consider doing so whilst alive though.

You're not disallowed to give blood because of sexuality per se, it's because they define gay sex as a "high risk activity"
Which is something I find hilarious because surely there is just as much chance of contracting STI's from straight sex as well??

anything on the inside such as organs i will hold on to for a while but i am not sure if giving my liver away is such a good idea. or my heart. those are probably the two weakest.

I have not donated blood because i had gotten a tattoo recently and you can't donate until after a year of getting a tattoo.

I'm not donating. I've seen that Monty Python film.

Sure, it's a satirical film, but think for a moment about the underlying point it's making - in many places, if doctors do see that you're an organ donor, they may potentially be more tempted to let you die so they can use your organs elsewhere to save someone else...
That's where I am at. Does being an organ donor give them license to value someone's life over mine? Grey's Anatomy deals with this topic a couple of times in it's run and it further solidifies my position -- they make it pretty believable that doctors become attached to patients on their particular waiting lists. That was always my feeling, and when I started riding a motorcycle (which medical professionals like to call donor cycles) at 16, I refused to fill in the card.

Little Timmy down the hall can have my organs, when my wife signs the consent form, after everything has been done to save my life. I don't want the first thought upon reviewing the contents of my wallet to be, JACKPOT, little Timmy is getting his kidneys.

I'm all for donation of stuff, and I'm registered in the UK to donate pretty much all of my good organs after I die. However, I won't donate blood or bone marrow, because I have a crippling fear of needles. Vaccinations are bad enough, but having a needle right in my vein or stuck through my bone just creeps me out. That being said, if they can take blood or bone marrow when I die, then I'm all for the doctors doing that. As soon as I die, I don't care what gets taken if it helps somebody out. The rest of me is just going to be burnt or buried anyway, so the NHS may as well get whatever they can that they can use while they have the chance, rather than letting me go to waste :D.

Nope, never. I don't like people and I have no interest in helping them. Sucks to y'all, I'm taking my organs to my grave.

I will definitely have my organs donated after I die, if nothing is too damaged of course : \

If someone can use something that I no longer need to expand their own life then why shouldn't we give them that chance?

I wish I could donate blood but have never been able to because of health problems.

I've never donated blood, but I'm not averse to the idea. As for organ donation: if it'll be genuinely useful to people, they can do whatever they want with my body after I'm dead. Come to think of it, they can do whatever they want even if it's not genuinely useful to people, it's not like I'll know anything about it either way. Organ donations while I'm alive would probably have to be going to a close family member.

I can't give blood or donate my organs, which is infuriating because I really want to. The reason is that I may be a carrier for CJD - otherwise known as Mad Cow Disease.

I am completely serious.

Yeah, they don't know for sure, but the only way they'll find out is when they cut open my brain after I die. So no donations for me.

I have trouble deciding because I have no idea who my organs are going to. I'd like to imagine that I'll be helping a child with a terminal disease, but maybe I'll end up giving my Liver to a guy who nearly drank himself to death and in doing so hurt his family/friends. I'll be dead and it wont matter to me, so I suppose that eventually I will change it to give out everything, but I find it really hard to do so.
