The latter part is why I opted to get it new. Because I want to play it with people. I like playing this game solo, but as I'm doing it I can't help but think about how much more fun it is to play co-op.Aerosteam 1908 said:I'm holding off Borderlands 2 until I get the inevitable Game of the Year/Ultimate Edition, but when that happens everyone's probably moved out of the game. =(
I've only died once or twice with Maya since very early in the game. Once her Phaselock is unlocked, she's pretty badass. I thuoght I had made a terrible mistake trying to solo her until I hit level five and was all "hellooooooooo..."MammothBlade said:Soloing Maya for now. I die alot, but I like the challenge. All the loot for myself!
Pretty much this.ShockValue said:I've been doing it solo as Salvador and co-op as Maya.
funny, ive only had that happen once (jackass stole a shield i wanted, but its cool)F said:I Played Borderlands 1 co-op, but mostly solo. Doing the same with Borderlands 2, I like to get through most of it on my own before playing with friends, friends steal guns haha.
It's designed to be better multiplayer but it is still a fun single player game. Expect to die frequently if you are not Roland.... at least early on.PieBrotherTB said:I got Borderlands GOTY last year during the Steam sale, finally getting a PC upgrade so that I can actually play it; pretty much resigned to having to play solo, as I'd rather not random join; does it subtract from the experience, playing solo?
