Well, my feelings can be summarized in one of two ways:
1)FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
2)The United States played a fantastic game, but so did Canada - what it came down to was freaking shitty officiating (angry fan-boy scapegoating), but in all fairness, it was largely Miller completely out playing Brodeur. However, it was nice to see Miller being so classy about it after the match - I really have no hard feelings against the guy, he's clearly very humble and genuinely nice, so I feel happy for him and his team.
However, it's definitely NOT over for Canada - they only have to play one extra game in order to get into the same place the U.S. is at.... against Germany. Really, without getting into any specifics, that game should be no problem for Canada, and then we can go on to Russia. I know I'm being optimistic, but I really think Sidney Crosby should have muttered "we'll be back" once the game was over, because I have a feeling we'll be seeing the US again in the gold medal game where we'll totally KICK FUCKING ASS.
