no, because theyd have to hack the legendaries you can only get from japanese events.

I'd say no, unless it doesn't involve having them all on one game. However, you also have to consider trading to get certain evolutions, and getting certain Legendary Pokemon through special events. If they have to have the special event Pokemon, I don't think they can do it. But it would be awesome if they could. I never completed the PokeDex in any game even with all the time I spent playing back in the day.

I don't think they can get all 493 in three days. They may come close, but I just don't see it happening. Belive me I've tried to catch all the pokemon in Ruby and even after an entire summer wasted on it,I only managed to get roughly around 175 of them.

No, because some are only available from special Nintendo event. Events that I could never attend and therefore use an Action Replay or the like.

If they are playing the original Red, Blue and Yellow (not certain of Yellow) there is a glitch which can be used to acquire a Mew prior to battling Misty. Additionally I suppose they could trade for legendaries even should that mean they did not catch them themselves.
