Any game using sex appeal as a primary selling point is a game that is shit.

Prove me wrong.

Massively over the top sex appeal, truly insane aesthetic, damn good fun to play. What other game can you combo an uzi and a burning sword?

Actually its the opposite for me. Meaning excess sex appeal is likely to turn me off from getting a game I otherwise might enjoy. Though... that could be because "sex appeal" in games so often is male-centric, and I obviously don't go for that. >_<

Soul Calibur got me with Ivy. Worth it.
Mortal Kombat got me with Mileena. SO F**KING WORTH IT. Also turned out to be a kick ass game! Made me an MK fan right away. Also a Mileena fan (you know, aside from the teeth thing...)

Mainly only fighting games because I know that once I get bored with jiggling my favorite female character around and kicking asses with her nice ass, I can then play a story mode (or several), play with my friends, and laugh at how my female friends stare at Jax's abs for so long.
Pff Perverts...

I don't buy games for sex appeal. The reason is that I've already bought some games due to sex appeal (such as X-Blades) and found them to be utter crap. So my theory is more sex appeal = less quality in the actual game itself.

Get's me clicking on the thumbnail for trailers. So I can then judge both the game (usually a JRPG) and find myself for doing a cosplay search/gameplay-youtube search, which is free. After I'm inevitably disappointed I then ignore the game as mere titillation.

When buying a game it's gameplay, story or a satisfying gimmick that get's me interested and willing to make a purchase decision.

Only happened to me once back when I was a horny teen, I bought Dead or Alive extreme beach volley ball, I felt embarrassed buying it that I never actually played it.

Never. I might though, if there was a man in a thong on the box in all seriousness. It's always females, so there isn't much sex appeal for me.

Nope. I don't have so much money that I can afford to waste it just because there's a pair of boobs on the front cover. Besides, if I wanted that there's plenty of it for free on the internet, and much better quality at that.

Not at all. If I buy a a game, it is if I legitimately like it.

If it has sex appeal in it, neat-o, but there's no fucking way I'm buying it based on that alone.

I don't do it a lot, but I recently bought Super Street Fighter IV and some DLC for it because I saw some of the female characters' costumes.
