I am a PC gamer but I used to play on XBox an 360, before I got into PC gaming I thought that they were all living in the past. Now I see that they are a master race, playing on a platform far more advanced that any console player could ever understand.
I'm ultimately neutral (I enjoy playing on my 360 but I also play a few PC games when the mood strikes me).
The only thing that stops me from taking my console gaming further is a lack of funds and the fact that there are quite a few PC games I enjoy.
The only thing that stops me from taking my PC gaming further is a lack of funds and the fact that there are quite a few console games I enjoy (that and my PC isn't very good but that's beside the point).
The players of both sides, however, I do have problems with.
Most (not all) PC gamers have an elitist view (like the bloke I've quoted above, seriously man, get over yourself) that seems to be born out of alleged technological advantages and the mouse and keyboard.
Many (again, not all) console gamers have turned out to be confrontational, Americans and stuck up, chavvy Brits (along with the occasional loathsome mainland European), this seems to be a result of the greater level of competition and 'hardcore' players that they can attract (consoles have a wider appeal, unfortuneatly, this also includes the people you don't want to see).
