Well, I like plenty of the stuff that comes out on PC, but I can never seem to afford a good new one. Also, I don't care for the complexity that comes with some of the things associated with it, but that may be more of a problem with Windows.

I don't like playing games on a PC, there's too many buttons and controls. I also enjoy the comfort of my chair when I play on my 360. I get annoyed with my friends who play on a PC, all of the "The graphics on consoles are shit" and "The controls are better" really pisses me off.

They only way they really differ from us is that they tend to have more money to spend on thier hobby.

I play Legend Of Zelda: A Link to the Past on my PC, does that count?

Hell I used to be a PC gamer before I realized that amount of money it'd cost to stay with it. I appreciate the advantages of PC but I dislike anyone who says that PC is exclusively the best for any game.

Only games I've played on PC are a few RTS games, and I haven't played them in a while. The keyboard and mouse controls suck with everything else. A specialised controller will always appeal to me more than a mouse and hundreds of noisy buttons.

I don't know why anyone would want to play games at a computer instead of kicking back on a couch and playing on a TV.

Plus, having to constantly upgrade, buying new stuff for the PC all the freaking time is expensive, not to mention a colossal headache for anyone without a degree in software engineering.

It's all to involved for me, I enjoy consoles because I just pop in the disc and I'm ready to go, no mucking around.

I am a PC gamer and I love it. Although we do get shafted a bit when it comes to release dates for games.

I am a PC gamer but I used to play on XBox an 360, before I got into PC gaming I thought that they were all living in the past. Now I see that they are a master race, playing on a platform far more advanced that any console player could ever understand.
I'm ultimately neutral (I enjoy playing on my 360 but I also play a few PC games when the mood strikes me).

The only thing that stops me from taking my console gaming further is a lack of funds and the fact that there are quite a few PC games I enjoy.

The only thing that stops me from taking my PC gaming further is a lack of funds and the fact that there are quite a few console games I enjoy (that and my PC isn't very good but that's beside the point).

The players of both sides, however, I do have problems with.

Most (not all) PC gamers have an elitist view (like the bloke I've quoted above, seriously man, get over yourself) that seems to be born out of alleged technological advantages and the mouse and keyboard.

Many (again, not all) console gamers have turned out to be confrontational, Americans and stuck up, chavvy Brits (along with the occasional loathsome mainland European), this seems to be a result of the greater level of competition and 'hardcore' players that they can attract (consoles have a wider appeal, unfortuneatly, this also includes the people you don't want to see).

Well... Not sure if I still count as a console gamer. I mean, I have been most of my life (Loved me some street fighter on SNES)
But I definitely prefer playing on PC. At least with the mouse I get a few shots in, with its nice and steady aiming.
That said, a few more console exclusives and I might be willing to ditch it for an ex borx.
Hey, did anyone play the first Deus ex on Ps2? That was an amusing experience.

PC gaming confuses me, with your RAMs and your Gigabytes...

Also I'm too poor/lazy to do it. The Xbox confuses just trying to change my NAT setting :S

I voted other, because if I had a good pc (which I do now) and could play PC games, I would do both PC and console.

I describe myself as a console gamer, but I'm a really just a Gamer. I play games, I don't care about platforms.

I kinda think that pc gaming is probably the future of gaming.. as you can constantly be upgrading to get the highest quality of visuals and all that... whereas with a console, a new console comes out and the visuals dont improve until the newxt generation of that console comes out, a good 5 or 8 years later.
That said, I prefer console gaming just for the handiness of it... no need for constant upgrades and what not

i dont play pc games because i have always been a console gamer and have only owned a pc for the past year and a half. therefore i cant stand using a mouse and keyboard to play any game, i would much rather play my ps3 or 360. however i dont put down pc gaming or pc gamers, it just simply not for me.

I play games both on console and PC. (I have a decent PC).
But I have to admit, alot of PC gamers are kind of single minded when it comes to consoles (I'm not saying console gamers are when it comes to PC's).I think people should learn to respect both for what they are.

First off, let me say that I fucking LOVE my Xbox 360, but I rather like the PC gamers more the Console ones because most 12 year olds don't have their own computer so they can't blast Lil Wayne and yell at their mother to stay out their life over the headset while playing Team Fortress 2. I just seem to like PC gaming more because some PC Games as far as I'm convinced are more addicting. That's why games damn near up to 10 years old are still played with today.

Also, no dick flashing while playing Uno

I'm sorry, you might not have noticed my toungue, it was in my cheek.
A rather witty comeback although that wit could have been more useful by say...making it more clear that you're using sarcasm? (a rather difficult thing to detect in the written word seeing as sarcasm and other such things are usually denoted by tone of voice, facial expression and body language).
