Unconventional, yes. It's not a typical game ending, and I think that's one of the reason's people are so ***** about it (it also does suck.) That's not my problem with it, and I agree with you.MrDeckard said:If you loved ME1 and 2 and are willing to take 3 for what it is, get it. 100% get it.
Despite what the majority of the people on this forum say, it's a great game.
Furthermore, by now I'm sure you've heard how......... Unconventional the ending is, and will be prepared for it, rather than being surprised.
On the other hand, Human Revolution was one of the best games of last year.
I think it really comes down to what you like.
Mass Effect: Action Oriented, Epic, Conclusion to series.
Human Revolution: VERY Stealth Oriented, Smaller more though provoking story, Self contained,
HR is amazing and a little more satisfying and thought-provoking.
ME 3 is a big ass action RPG (yes it is an RPG; not only are there stats, there is player choice and consequence throughout the game. The only part that doesn't take the previous 2 games into account as well as the 3rd)
Also, funny enough how people who hate ME3's ending (and, irrationally, the whole series, now) yet champion HR, when the endings are both fucking A, B, C endings
Don't spoil it, but they both take the exact same method with ending: a choice at the end of the game followed by a cutscene.
It's all about the journey, maaaaan.
