Bush was freaking awesome. I miss him, the man was comedy gold. In terms of policy and crap i didnt really notice that much that was different to life under the clinton administration
Agree with you in terms of comedy relief, but if you are/were a student at any time under Bush, you would have felt the effects of his terrible policies.

My vote = one of the worst Presidents in the history of our country and we should be ashamed that he represented us once.

The fact that he was voted for twice sums up my thoughts on the average intelligence of Americans perfectly.

Bad Things:
-he took America into an illegal war
-destroyed the global economy
-(supposedly) ignored information regarding the 9/11 attacks
-later made a mess of the response to 9/11
-stripped Americans of their basic rights
-tortured
-supported Big Oil
-ignored the democrats in the legislative process (when they were the minority)

Good Things:
I can't think of anything, so here's a picture of a pygmy hedgehog in an egg cup for your enjoyment

There must have been some merit, because we voted him in twice. I don't think he's the Antichrist, as many seem to think. He just came into the presidency at a fucking terrible time. I think he did the best he could given the circumstances. It could've been worse: Gore or Kerry could've won.
I think if Gore and Kerry had a baby, then that would be the anti-Christ.

Bush did make me realize that 95% of all American comidiens are lazy simpletons. Oh, a Bush joke......................................................how original. I wonder what they're going to make fun of now. Well, ofcourse it can't be Obama since he's the savior of all mankind.

To be fair to George W. Bush, many world leaders have managed to do far worse in 8 years of running a country. I mean, look at Robert Mugabe's performance in Zimbabwe over the same period. But that's about as positive as I'll probably be.

On many issues, he was meh at best. However on the war and self defense he was excellent. I vote yes. In his few months, Obama has done far more damage then Bush ever did.

i just thought he was hilarious in a Boris Johnsonny sort of way only much more dangerous due to the high rank and power he held. Iraq and Afghanistan were mistakes although i did like his policy on space exploration.

Fairly consistent with most American presidents.

Exactly this.... Bush was pushed into the electorate by his father and some other colleagues with one clear goal: to make SHITLOADS of cash. In that respect, he did a great job. military spending went from 300 billion in 2000 to 600 billion in 2008 under his two terms in office.

Considering him, his dad and a few others have 'investments' in military defense contractors I'd say he's pretty fuckin' rich at this point.
