Yes, I do. I always believed in them a little bit, but after the freaky stuff I saw in the sky not too long ago I'm a pretty firm believer that there is something out there.

Here's my account of it (It is long and I hate re-typing things, so I've copy & pasted it from the last time I mentioned it):

Now I've always been pretty sceptical about the super-natural, but last night just after going hunting with my dad and a few freinds, while me, my dad, and friend were waiting for the other 2 to gte out of the woods and back to the car we started seeing some very weird lights traveling through the air high above the feild we were on the edge of. At first there was just one, way off in the distance, but within a minute it zig-zaged its way to just the end of the feild(the other end) that we were on and made its way starting and stoping in a very large circle around the general area. at the same time it would disapear and reapear at different times even though it was to bright to be blocked bye the clouds.
There was also 2 more although they didn't interact. One was just up in the sky(I couldn't tell how far it was or if it was moving) but it was brighter then any star or plane that I've ever seen and disapeared occationaly when I wasn't looking.
The last one was only visable for a few minutes. it was hight up, simply apeared, and moved in a straight line across the sky like it was riding on cables hundreds of feet in the air. I had 5 lights, one slowly fading in and out(it was generaly facing our side of the field), and had 4 more that vere just bright on the side of it like bright windows or something. It was also shaped like a cigar, but one of the weirdest things was that none of them gave off any noise at all(it was very quiet since we were far from town).

That is very interesting and very well detailed. I must say that I have to believe you.

It's only logical to assume there's life elsewhere in the universe. We just haven't seen them yet.

I won't rule out the possibility of aliens until we've mapped out the entire universe.

Up until the last planet in existence has been surveyed, we've no reason to deny the existence of extraterrestrial beings.

It would be pretty amazing if there was another planet like ours, with near-perfect conditions that allow us to live. If there is life out there, I would imagine most of it to be bacteria or possibly smaller organisms that could survive on the planet.

Haven't they already found bacteria on Mars?
yea i think so, so aliens do exist either way.

I have a hard time believing that we're the only planet with life on it. The universe is just too big for us to be the only ones.

To me, it really doesn't matter whether they exist or not. Think about it, even the closest planet in our solar system takes years to reach by our standards and even if they're much more advanced, why then would they be interested in us?

With all that universe out there, I doubt Earth is an isolated incident. I don't think we've been visited by any little gray men that have an odd affinity for the human anus, but I don't doubt that somewhere, there must be a world similar to Earth.

There's no way in hell that we're alone in this giant infinite space that we all float around in.

The very idea that this planet is the only planet with organisms more complex than micro-organisms in the entire universe that we know of now, is just impossible.
I mean really, if this planet can have creatures evolving out of primordial ooze, why not any other planet?

Hell we have things on Earth itself that don't even adhere to proper biology, such as the creatures at the lake of salty brine in the very bottom of one of the sea trenches. IT LIVES IN SALT. PURE SALT. IF IT WAS TAKEN FROM THE SALT, IT DISINTEGRATES LIKE A METROID'S VICTIM!

If things on this planet don't even follow the "oxygen good" biology, how can you say there is no life out there? Something out there can breathe pure helium or phosphorous.

It makes sense. If the universe is infinite, then logic demands aliens, because everything in an infinite space has to exist.

Just look at how big our universe really is.

There has to be some other forms of life somewhere in all of this.

It all depends. Do you mean multi-cellular organisms, sentient life, or little green men in flying saucers molesting Old Man Jenkin's cows?

My opinion is that alien life is out there, but we will never communicate with them easily, if at all. Such a vast distance is too far to overcome unless we/they teraform a planet near them/us.

I believe in aliens, but I find it doubtful that they have visited us. I find it completely illogical to think that in the infinite expanse of the universe that there is no other life.

I don't really think it's arrogant to assume we are the only intelligent life in the Universe. After all, we can only make assumptions based off of the information available. So in that case, it actually seems quite a reasonable statement. It's when you start introducing "If"s that it can become arrogant. "If" there really is other life out there, it is.

I'd say that it's quite possible, however, it's not guaranteed simply based off the vastness of space. After all, consider how perfectly aligned our planet is to be able to support life in the first place. The chances were astronomical for our planets to fall into this arrangement, so it's not safe to assume that other forms of life will be supported just because there are so many other universes.

Then of course you can argue that different organisms can adapt and live off of different circumstances.

The argument goes on. I like to believe something else is out there, observing us as a television station for their own laughter.

South Park anyone?
