Meh. I enjoy being drunk, but most drinks are pretty ill. Some of those ciders aren't bad, as well as some of the premium beers (especially any weissbeirs) Hoegaarden is always welcome..

Err, well no. I had some Jacks once. Also, I think vodka smells like dish soap. Am I alone in that?

I am not really one for drinking alcohol, more so because of the taste and I didn't really start trying new things until about 21, even though the legal age here is 18 and all my friends 'were doing it'. I just didn't like the taste, was horrible.

I've found a few alcoholic drinks I like, nice enough to have one say, socially, and occasionally I get a little drunk - but this doesn't happen regularly! It's just when its a good time :)

I enjoy a cold beer every now and again.
And a little bit of whiskey in my coffee on cold days, or when having a cold.

Rarely. I don't mind drinking a little with friends, but I don't find it particularly appealing to get drunk or anything. I'm underage too, but most of my friends are in their twenties, so it's readily available for the most part.

No. *glug glug glug* Okay, I never used to, but lately I have been with my roommates. It's usually something like hot chocolate with some Bailey's in it while we watch movies or some fruit filled drink. Nothing too crazy.

Virtually never, I only ever drink if someone just won't shut up about me having a drink with them in which case I might have a single pint/bottle, and then they tend to be really shocked when I don't enjoy it or jump on the bandwagon, somehow thinking that I was just joking about the fact that I don't like the effects.

I don't like the taste of alcohol, but every time I go out with my friends I feel like I have something to prove and end up drinking a ton. Of course I then always look like a complete tit and embarrass myself. You'd think I'd learn.

Yes I drink, however usualy only once per week if at all that much (as in one lot of drinking, not 1 single beverage).

I see drink as neither a posotive nor negative thing with respects to what some above have posted. I always drink responsibly and when I drink I usualy drink Whiskey / Rum so I drink because I enjoy the taste.

Yeah, I treat it like I do coke or pepsi; never have one before noon. And if I go on a night out, I usually have between 4 or 8 beers in the course of an evening (8pm to 3/4am latest)

I've only been Slurry speech drunk once, but that was at my friend's 18th, so I think I can class myself a social drinker.

Yes I do. I'm quite partial to good New Zealand craft beer like the selection from the Moa Brewing Company and the Hallertau Brewbar and Restaurant.

Nope, dislike the taste. I normally can't drink more than one little glass before I have to force it down. So, no, not really worth it.

That depends on what you mean by drinking. Do social drinks count, or is this about getting totally pissed and getting thrown out? Personally, I'll grab a few drinks with the mates every now and then, and occasionally get totally wasted, too. Can't really say I drink every weekend, but whenever there's a special occasion where drinks are served.

OP: I agree with the others, choosing not to drink without ever trying it seems a little silly to me. You can have a lot of fun when you're a bit tipsy. It's not always about going dead drunk and passing out. Like I said, social drinks are cool, too, to loosen up the crowd.

Nope, never have, and won't for a LONG time (I'm diabetic, and alcohol is complicated carbs, and they're made up of other sugars, so it's like drinking sugar and fermented fruit liquid)
