I do not fear death, and feel it is only the beginning. It is inevitable. Only in death do any of us have true freedom. As a matter of fact, I often find myself longing for it.

There's no flat-out "no" option. "not really" implies some fear, and "Nope, all set and ready to go" implies an eagerness.

I don't fear it, but I'll avoid it as long as possible. It is kind-of like if I hated my job. I wouldn't fear it, but I wouldn't want to be there (or have a spring in my step on the way there). I wouldn't let thinking about being at work ruin the time I wasn't there. I'd also look into ways not to go to work, or that job at least. Granted there's no alternative to death, but I think the allegory mostly explains my feelings.

Sort of. While I understand it as an inevitability, I just don't know if I'm going to a deserving afterlife or nonexistence. It's a bit disconcerting.

Of course I do, all those people that said no are most likely lying.
Once again, some people think differently. I'm just going to assume you calling them liars is slang for "I respectfully disagree".

If you were told that you had a terminal illness and were going to die you wouldn't be scared?
Not scared, but sad. I do like living, after all. Though I'd pull my shit together soon, since I don't intend to spend my last days moping over the inevitable.

Don't give me that whole "We all all dying" stuff,
...what?
Even if there are people that do think that way it's hard to believe that everyone that has voted no has seriously thought about this and decided that Death doesn't scare them.
If you think you could go on without thinking about your regrets, or worried about what could happen after death then you and anyone else that has seriously thought about this, I don't just mean "Yeah, I could totally do it" because it's seriously not that easy.
The last bit was just a typo, I meant to say "we are all dying" it's late and I'm tired.

depends on how the dying occurs. burning i fear more than anything else, but i dont fear the actual death so much as i fear the pain before the death.

I'm just hoping I can get this whole "living" thing out of the way soon so I can truly live it up in heaven.

I just hope none of my friends finally snap and kill me while I'm around.
One of my friends thought up an execution method involving nailing someone to concrete, skinning them alive with a knife coated in lemon juice and vinegar, popping out one of your eyes and stamping on it, and them dropping a jar of ants on you.

No.

Let me qualify that a little, since everyone will just assume I'm being the typical internet asshat without it. I don't fear being dead, but I'm not liking the prospect of dying. I won't mind it once it's over but, say, being burned or eaten alive is not something I'm looking forward to.

It's like eating grapes and icing on salted crackers. Once you muscle it past the gag reflex, it's not so bad.
