Poll: Do you have a tattoo

I'll likely have one in a few months. I'm heading off to Ireland to apprentice under my father, and then I'll be able to draw on people for money.

So am I, and as of a few hours ago my whole chest is tattooed. They're for me, not for others.

It is awesome. It hurt like CRAZY - much more than either side of the chest - but I love it. I'll maybe post when it heals.

I do have plans to get two more done though. One would be a massive full back piece using lots and lots of colour. Probably cost an arm and a leg to get done, but I need to find a good artist first and I have other travel plans hogging all my funds so it is on the back burner.

If I were to get one, though, I want a cobra coiled on my right shoulder blade and crawling over to my collarbone and a rose with a briar vine on my left shoulder with the vine going all the way down to my hand.

My brother wanted us to get their tattoos on our hands, so we figured blacklight ink would help conceal them, since I want to be a cop and he wants to be a teacher. Neither job really allows visible tattoos.

What? that's news to me. I'm a 1st grade teacher in training and have sleeves and a tattoo on my neck. I just where a long sleeved collared shirt every day. A lot of police departments only tattoo rules are 'nothing on the face and nothing on the hands'. Gangs are really big into putting stuff on their hands.
