I just don't get it. I have no interest in talking to the people there. If my friends want to tell me something that bad, they can call me. I don't do anything special that I absolutely have to tell the whole world about.
I guess in short, I'm just not narcissistic enough for a Facebook page.

Yea, I used to quite a bit, a lot of friends have gone all over the UK to different uni etc. It's a nice, easy way to catch up with them and see photo's and stuff.
Also, I have very close family who've moved to America and a friend to NZ. I don't use Skype or MSN etc.
I'm not always on the laptop so I can use it on my phone, too.
If I really want to talk to people or them me, we still ring/text eachother to arrange to meet up, it hasn't taken over seeing people in real life.

Everyone has facebook on their phone these days. I want to contact someone should I pay 12c for a text? Or a free FB message? Now I lied just then because my phone plan gives me free txts and standard calls, but people always check their facebook, also, it lets me subtly communicate and keep up with people who may not want me to communicate or keep up with them... >.> <.< ....

Have it, use it a lot. It's as good a way as any of sharing random links and videos with people you know/chatting to friends/organising things.

Never have and probably never will. I just don't see the practical use in allowing this heartless Behemoth to devour all my free time. I'm busy enough as it is, I don't need some random guy/gal that I barely know, or care for, ask for my friend invitation. A friend is a friend, not some digital obligation. Yes, I do take some things a bit too seriously.
I do visit the Facebook of bands I like, though. However, I do so as a lurker who obnoxiously refuses to sign himself in to Facebook.

I do have it but i for sure wont ever put it on my profile, for i dont know anyone here personally so i refuse further contact.I communicate with friends and workmates, thats all its made for, not for breeding high numbers of virtual "friends" you dont even know.

I have a facebook, but under a fake name, and I only use it to get various free crap from companies for "liking" something.
I have better things to do then see what my friends/family are wasting their time on.

I check mine maybe once a month, if that. It mainly serves as a bulk youtube link distributor to my workmates for the funny stuff we find.

Do I have a phone? Do I have an email? Yes, of course I have a Facebook account. I know a lot of people, and I talk to a lot of them.
Meet a cool guy or girl out clubbing? Add them on Facebook. Have a free and easy conversation with them the next day. Much easier to say "I'll add you on Facebook" than to have to ask for someone's number. So yeah, phone number for close friends/regular contacts, Facebook for people I know, but don't talk to often. It's not some internet demon which devours your privacy and adds random douchebags to your account. It's just another communication tool. You add your friends. Don't like someone? Don't add them. Don't like anyone? Well, bummer for you.
