I made an account a while back but none of my friends were on it, so I had nothing to do and hence I just closed it.
Recently my backwards ass friends all got on it and urged me to join back up. I tried to make a new account with my one email address, but it said "Sorry your account has been closed" to which I replied "uhhh....Yeah I know. I closed it. Now let me in..."
But it wouldn't have any of it (I neede a new email address), so after 4 more minutes of searching for a way I promptly opened up the Facebook tab said "FUCK.YOU." and closed it for good....

Of course I have a facebook.
And of course I don't go spamming it around every forum I'm on. That isn't, as far as I can tell, and certainly as far as I'm concerned, what it's for. I use it to keep up with people I actually know. If I want to talk to someone on a forum ... I'll talk to them on the forum. If for some other reason we've become better friends (generally this involves actually meeting face to face at some point, as I have done e.g. with people at car owners' club events) then I may invite them as an FB friend or give them my IM link etc. Most I might do before that is my email address or something.
There's an awful lot of nutters and spammers out there, and but a few shining diamonds in amongst it all who are worthy of your precious time.
Besides, monkeysphere. My brain can only keep up with maybe 200 active contacts at the very most - science fact. At least half of them are people without a facebook or even a computer in some cases. So my FB friend count floating somewhere below 100 doesn't seem all that bad. The amount of status updates alone from that is insane and is hard to actually pay masses of attention to.

I don't use it, I will never use it. Why should everyone know what I am doing or who am I or where I aI also hate how every computer at my schools library is reserved by people who are on facebook and when you ask them to give you them computer for 5 minutes so you can check some school stuff they'll just swear at you.
And if I want to contact someone I call them via phone... Or send email... I hate the whole Idea that the system represents.

I do but at the time that I made my account I didn't have any interest in it. As I came to find out it was annoying with all the spam messages of people wanting me to play the little online games I had no interest in.
These days I just ignore the app and game requests and stick to messaging. I find it's just nice to have around to keep up with people.

I have it. Keep up with friends, plan parties, find parties, put up pictures....

Keeping in touch with friends is kind of the reason I bought a phone and if I wanted a bucnh of randoms trying to add me constantly i'd go back in time and dowload msn again. So the short answer is no I don't have face book.
